I wasn't too into this guy, but in hand photos make him look way better. I just wish his cannon was longer. I'm more looking forward to the sleeker ,GCreation version. But...I may have to get both. That alt mode is a legend.

Back when I was collecting mainline figures, the deluxe version of IDW Megs was one of my favorite deluxes. I really loved both the alt and bot modes. This guy takes some of those design queues and really expands on it. I've been tempted on going for an IDW MP collection, and this guy just might be the one to finally tip the scales in that direction.

I have this guy - really like him. Nicest box i've handled all year. (erm...). But yeah - dig it. All works really well, down to the screw covers having the detail and the stand being real nice

What an absolutely MAGNIFICENT figure! I don't even read IDW comics (not by choice, I'd love to) but I LOVE the B-2 Bomber. I went looking for a Transformer that had a B-2 Bomber alt mode, the only other is Dreadwing, but this beats him hands down. A must have for my collection

Geez, this looks pretty flipping amazing, but I sorta wanna see how GCreation does on their IDW Megs... I'm definitely gonna get the GT IDW Optimus, but the Megatron... I think I'm going to wait for GCreation's along with Ultra Magnus.

just finding this for the first time tonight for some reason lol I rarely say this but this is a perfect transformer from what I can see. The cable in the back is so minimal I would say it's standard with comic IDW and the bomber? The bomber is a work of art with an underside and a backside that is free of kibble

I just love Generation Toy and Toyworld packaging! I only have GT Mini Optimus Prime and mini Megatron but if the rest of the line is high quality i may be inclined to buy more. I hope they expand their legends size

Awesome review, gotta get this guy for my shelf. We definitely need a MP MTMTE version of Megatron. I like the MMC Tyrantron, but it is too CHUGish for my MP Shelf.

i actually really like this version of Megatron, but the railgun is the only thing that takes me out of it, id much rather have the fusion cannon if I had it my way, id give him purple eyes instead of red, a fusion cannon on his arm, and the wingtips actually becoming swords instead

Fortunately for the 3rd party companies looking for my custom - I don't judge them to harshly on their IDW obsession, as I long since learned my Blood Pressure appreciates me not reading them - I can pretty much treat them all as original designs. Which if I was masochistic enough to want to have my childhood assaulted by IDW i'd likely be a lot less friendly the the whole idea. I'd actually not say no to a few more people making more eccentric things though such as Hearts of Steel, Armada or Energon homages, or Beast Wars. To be honest I think I'd want 1 decent Beast Wars Megatron over an above half a dozen almost identical IDW inspired Optimus Primes. But as I do not read the IDW comics any more for the sake of my Nostalgia and my blood pressure's protection I can be forgiving. But I certainly don't want that becoming the main and only focus of the 3rd party market - any more than I want 10 Movie Bonecrusher toys. The Mix of options is likely best for the long term survival of the individual companies. But Generation Toy (or whatever they call themselves this week) has a propensity for the IDW inspired look (though thankfully not as extreme) so they do at least maintain internal brand consistency... which is more than Unique Toys does.
