I’m an Australian and I love your reaction to this video 😊 I was lucky enough to see the Teskey Brothers perform live in my hometown. Their performance brought me to tears. So much emotion and power. Can you please react to these other Australian artists: “Brother - Like A Version” by Matt Corby “Lose Yourself cover” by Kasey Chambers

I love that the whole band/group jumped down and went into the crowd and he was on the shoulders of one of the band.

The audience didn't want them to finish, so they kept it going.Check put Josh and Jimmy Barnes duet. The Teskey Brothers are an Australian blues rock band from Melbourne, named after the two brothers who formed the group in 2008: Josh Teskey and Sam Teskey. In 2019 they signed with Glassnote Records and Ivy League Records. Love how Josh goes over to Sam.

GeoB here...so happy to see you're back in the kangaroo saddle gals. Tesky Bros sound can be very bluesy when needed. Smooth live performance :) (clapping with song). Great reaction.

I found this band's music about 3 years ago. They are FANTASTIC!! Another great one I found around the same time is Allen Stone ( blue-eyed soul as well). This is definitely blue-eyed soul. The lead singer is very good at conducting the crowd and controlling what they are to be doing at a certain time.

I’ve not met a single person who does not like The Teskey Brothers. I don’t know how they aren’t household names by now. “Rain” live on The Colors Show is an experience.

If you have never seen an artist in the midst of their audience, I recommend another Australian group, "Cold Chisel", covering the Troggs classic "Wild Thing". Thanks for a great reaction ladies, although I would have said the song was soul rather than country. Loved that you loved it though

Tamworth (NSW) has a big country music festival every year, it’s pretty huge.. country music is a pretty big thing in regional Australia.. After listening to a couple of the Teskey Brothers albums I’d probably say they were more in the soul category tho..? Love your reactions ladies, keep them coming! 😁

Im so excited that my favourite M&D reactors have found these fantastic performers, songwriters, musicians, sound technicians, producers.... I flew to Glasgow recently to see them, and im off to oslo this month to catch them again. Love these guys. And your reaction was so much like mine. Excited, happy, thrilled, exhilarated... All of them. Their latest London Bridge has already got more than 500000 views just on their audio YT release. Absolutely phenomenal. I'm catching their concerts, BTW, to mske up for never getting to a Bee Gees one. Oh, another point. Josh Teskeys voice sounds like Otis Redding's voice. Listen to Otis, and you'll think its Josh. The teskey brothers Rain, is pure Otis soul.

Great to see you both back. Never heard of The Teskey Brothers but I liked that. Would be great to hear you do more from Eivør. Just released a few days ago there is an excellent performance by her from London’s Hammersmith Apollo where she sings/throat sings/vocalises the main theme from the Netflix Viking drama ‘The Last Kingdom’ (not sung in English). It’s different, primal/tribal and highly impressive. And of course Kate Bush’s induction to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced only yesterday also calls for a revisit.

Unique is the right word. Blues and Soul music as well as Country music have been popular in Australia for almost as long as America. Tamworth in New South Wales is Australia's capital of Country music. It is similar to Nashville but smaller scale. It has a country music festival every year where the Golden Guitar awards for Country music are held. The Teskey Brothers have a great catalogue of music and have toured the world. His audience is like his back up singers. They are the nicest guys. We have a train in our little town of Drysdale on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria which is called the Blues Train. It holds an annual blues music festival on the train as it travels along the peninsula. It is very popular and sells out very quickly. It takes tourists along the peninsula to Queenscliff and back on weekends. The Teskey Brothers have performed at Quenscliff.

Slight correction to your comment - Drysdale and Queenscliffe are on the Bellarine Peninsula, not the Mornington Peninsula. Opposite side of the bay to Mornington. Wouldnt want the ladies getting lost in Sorrento if they ever came out looking for the Blues Train! Though they could always catch the ferry across. 😀

Ive missed you and your reactions. Hope everything was ok. If you want a great artist need to watch Tommy Joannson doing his cover of ( Empty Room ) of Gary Moore or his cover of Headless Cross of Black Sabbath. His cover of these artists are out standing. When covid hit he started doing cover songs. Tommy is the lead guitarist for ( Sabaton ) who sing about true war events. A great song from Sabaton is their new released ( 1916 ) Sabaton is from Finland & Sweden.
