Keep in mind this was a live performance decades b4 autotune. He sang it again during a Voice audition, improvised, when he realized that a contestant happened to be the son of the guy who wrote this song just for him in 1967. He just stood up & belted it out, his voice practically unchanged at 80. He’s a freak of nature.

Tom Jones still lives and still sings! Look it up on KZbin where Tom sings as a coach on The Voice in England. He is still such a great singer that he made fellow coach Jennifer Hudson fall under his spell. She gazed at Tom with puppy dog eyes as she recorded his performance on her smart phone. She later confessed to Kelly Clarkson that she adored Tom. Kelly tried to argue, "But he's old!" Jennifer said she didn't care. Good for Jennifer. She has good taste.

Tom has a gift from God. His voice is magical, tremendous range and still sings like this today. He was the most famous singer in the world along with his fellow Welsh star Shirley Bassey. He was quite poorly as a child and had to stay in bed for months. He listened to alot of soul music and r+b so honed his skills from an early age. I knew of Tom as a child because my mother was obsessed with him. Today, 60 years later, I still love Tom and my big brother loves Shirley due to my late father being a massive fan of hers. Tom toured all around America and had a residency slot in Las Vegas too. As far as I am concerned he is the No.1 best male vocalist. I know everyone has their own favourite and that is great because let's face it, if we all liked the same things, life would be boring😊

Saw him 14 times in concert during his prime ( yes, I'm old ! ) ... trust me , the man can sing and move !!! Try " Treat Her Right " to see his fun side ... he was good friends with Elvis ... still is in contact with Priscilla today . What a voice ... and not difficult to look at either !!

It makes me feel so proud to watch you both listening to Toms rendition of Never Gonna Fall in Love Again. You looked like you were in heaven which is how I feel when I listen to this song. I was 3 when it came out and I wanted my mother to play it all day. Im 58 now and still love it. I dont like all of his songs, but there are a lot that I do. Im also part Welsh and so I am deeply proud of him as all Welsh people are. He had an absolutely amazing voice and really felt his songs deeply. Check more out. You will be amazed.

As a matter a fact Zak, you're a hundred percent right. I couldn't agree more and I wish the young kids could get back into the raw talent business and if they could mix a little Motown and UpTown in, and kinda back off on the bad attitude mean faced look, I know they could change the world to a better more enjoyable place.

I love Tom Jones and he is definitely one of my favorite singers. I have seen him in person a couple of times and he held the room captive with his incredible voice and charisma. He almost didn't need a microphone, his voice reached through the whole theater and then some. One thing I’ve noted is where Tom has improved. His vocal dynamics are so much better now than when he first arrived on the scene. In the beginning he seemed to have one volume…loud. Over the years his command of his voice has really improved. He always had good range and a good voice, but boy has it improved in so many positive ways.
