Back injuries don't just physically hurt, the whole thing is absolutely a humbling experience. Especially when you've been a physical specimen and now you can't even toilet and have to depend on others for everything. It brings you face to face with mortality. It also shows you that in life you have to maintain a positive attitude no matter the situation. Injuries like his expose you to a level of pain that most can't imagine until your living it, but again u have to maintain a positive attitude and just learn how to deal with your new reality

In short: Due to a disc protrusion with degenerative changes in two vertebrae, a spinal fusion was performed, which Ronnie managed to damage during his extremely excessive bodybuilding training, necessitating a second surgery, i.e., a revision surgery, with an extended spinal fusion over two levels and two spacers, namely two cages. This likely led to pain-induced mobility restrictions with a subsequent nerve lesion.

@@MrDarrelln64Yeah, from what I can gather in the video he had surgery for his for disc, and after surgery he kept training like he used to (heavy squats, etc) and reinjured himself to major circumstances.
