Another thing about the drum demon fight was that the room they fought in was covered in the demon's writings, and Tanjiro made an effort to never step on a single page. This threw off the demon as well, as they were just papers that brought him pain, but Tanjiro respected the writings like he would any art. Even without the chance to read a single one.

Tanjiro is strong enough to love and care for everyone, his love is so strong it endures the cruelty humanity pushes onto each other and is able to cut down the sorrow that binds the demons to this world and end their cycle of hate. True compassion is the mark of a true hero. We all must find our inner tanjiro and learn to free our inner "demons" from their suffering, not by suppressing them or ourselves but by caring and loving. Love begins within, to truly love others we must love ourselves first, and learn that our imperfections are what make us perfect.

You forgot to mention that Rui's parents were willing to go to hell with him. I think the author didn't go into the backstory of every demon so he doesn't have to make the manga super long like the old big 3 of shonen manga, or he just didn't think of a backstory for all of them. My favorite demon backstories are Akaza's and Daki's. Akaza's backstory was so long, a large portion of it was actually cut out from the manga and it was only explained at the back of the volume by the author.

Also during the fight between the Drum demon, Tanjiro doesn’t step on the writing, this also affects the demon as well. Tanjiro is an amazing demon slayer and he is one of the best slayers.

Tangiro and his empathy for demons reminds me of the one scene from Full Metal Alchemist, after Ed defeated he slasher brothers and refused to finish them off making the older brother laugh. Finding it strange that after living lives of death and violence and being transformed into a living suite of armor loosing there human form. They find a person who treats them with more humanity than they ever experienced when they were human.

The taiko demon is my favorite, because I am an aspiring writer myself. And my work has been repeatedly spat on by both my family and the occasional people I show it to. It really is true that when somebody validates and compliments your writing, you wanna burst into tears. Because what you write 900 times out of ten, comes from the heart and is your most sensitive masterpieces ever. Your soul and energy is scribbled onto a paper and it gets stepped on. It genuinely feels horrible. Watching this demon made me tear up. Loved his backstory and made me love tanjiros kindness too. The demons design is also Hella cute. I love anime characters with that layered fluffy wolf hair.

To this day out of all the anime I've watched Susamaru is still my favorite neutral/villain character. Partly because I really like the idea of a villain who is very playful kinda like Harley Quinn for example. Also I've never seen a character with a tamari and I think it suits her very well and I just really love Susamaru's overall concept

It's rare in these shows and movies that you the creators give the "bad guys" a backstory and the main character showing empathy I wish more would do that because realistically a criminal or a murderer has gone through something for them to become so dark it's just sad ppl just want to kill off their problems and move on it's a dark world

This is what makes Tanjiro such a good character to me. He knows that at one time, the demons were people too, and he treats each one he defeats with dignity and kindness. He is gentle if they give up, and doesn’t want their final moments to be filled with anger and pain. He’s faced so much loss at the hands of the demons, but the only one he shows true hatred for is Muzan

You seem to be misunderstanding something dude these demons that were killed tanjiro showed them kindness because they were people innocent people who had been forced to do something against their own minds will they weren't actually truly evil people they were once innocent and essentially brainwashed by the blood of the demon that had been put in them so he showed them a final compassion when they regain some of their humanity if they had been actually evil when they were turned into evil demons then it would have been different. You people seem to forget that there is such a thing as an actual evil black-hearted person.

But what I meant is that they 'were' once innocent people. I think the way it works is that when they get turned into a demon their mind becomes warped. So they lose any and all humanity they on e had. So when the demonic exterior is killed what little remains inside of them that was once human resurfaces.
