toothpaste will help you with scratches on DVD's and cd's you put it on it than rub it around let it dry for a min than rub it off with a towel and rinse the dvd or cd with water than dry it. I used that hack many times on blockbuster games and movies

Alright, the rubiks cube trick was dont becuase if you repeat a sequence just enough, you return to the starting position, he probably just stopped in the middle of the starting position to the end of the sequence, when he started the video, it was already “scrambled” while it was actually in the middle of a sequence, so he started it back up until it reached the starting point Im a cuber, i just needed to nerd out

There is some truth behind the toothpaste hack but no, it won't fix badly cracked screens. What it can fix however is mildly scratched CD's and DVD's. You rub toothpaste over the whole surface and let it dry then use a soft cotton cloth to rub it off. All it basically does is remove the top layer of the disc where the scratches are. You're still gonna wanna back up that disc though.
