I've noticed that a lot of your mentions of better translations are reflected in the New English Translation (NET). It also uses "headstreams" for the 4 rivers of Eden, indicating they flow _together_ rather than away from Eden as you described, for example. It also appears to include extensive footnotes on translation issues and differences. You might want to consider giving it a look.

No need to be confused about the flood that covered all the Earth - because it's all documented in hundreds of historic records. Confusion and "arguments" result from assumptions based on lies that the public believes to be true - due to programming of intentional disinfo. The truth about the flood is this: The flood waters covered all the Earth, however, the Earth at that time was not the Earth we have today. At the time of Noah's flood, our Earth was shockingly small - with only the regions of Iraq (Erech in the bible ) and parts of Armenia - our Earth had no continents, no oceans and no mountains at that time. I really hope in the future, there will be an IPV(InspiringPhilosophy Version) Bible. A study Bible that basically takes the lessons you've put on KZbin and transferred over onto paper. Translating the verses to fit more with the historical context, and then commentaries to explain the verses further, also certain sections would take a moment to answer some common questions about Christianity like the Problem of Evil and such. If you ask me that would be an epic milestone in apologetics history.

I understand the order of releasing the birds but wasn’t the ark just a floatation device? The direction of land appearing wouldn’t have mattered as the ark had no propulsion system. “The ark came to rest...” suggests they waited for landing and weren’t heading towards it. The birds in this case would just be a means of telling how fast the flood waters were lowering.

@@sathviksidd partial preterism is the view that most of the prophecies in the NT that are usually attributed to the second coming, end times etc... are actually already fulfilled. Primarily Matthew 24, the Olivet discourse, is usually interpreted as being in our future and is about Jesus second coming, rapture etc. The preterist view is that this prophecy by Jesus is regarding the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. It was future for Jesus and the desiples, but past (preterist) from our perspective. I hold to it, so does R.C sproul and Jeff Durbin. Check it out. Honestly, it makes so much more sense and it honours the text.
