What seals/crush washers need to be replaced. I saw oil feed/drain and coolant. need to removed my exhaust manifold in order to fix a butchered o2 housing install (studs either fully came out or snapped) and i need to put new studs in, so i figured if im removing it i oughta replace the seals.

Do you recommend myself cleaning my turbo charger? And if I were to, would I spray the cleaner into the turbo opening shown at 2:48 or at the opening shown at 4:24? Or either/both? Thank you!

You would have to basically feed the turbo clean oil from the feed port on top and have a catch bucket on the bottom

No. Needs a tune to run properly otherwise you’ll have lean afrs when attempting to boost. Just leave the wastegate arm off and you’ll be fine until you get tuned.

Anytime you get a new turbo or exhaust part, it will smoke. It burns through the top layer of the exhaust. So yes it’s normal

@@ProdigePerformance oh okay😎 got scared for a second, I just finished the install and got scared maybe I didn’t torque it right or something. I just installed the stuffed turbo, CNT 02, IRS DP. Not necessarily hard but easier with better tools, your video helped a lot so I appreciate it. I’ll get it tuned in a month or 2 so I’m driving it like a baby and avoiding boost. CEL already came up cuz of the 02 (not worried tho). out of curiosity do you know how much WHP a 2013 2.0t Auto makes completely stock, Ik it’s like 274 crank but not sure what WHP is.

@@victorvargas5155 I was about to say. The turbo almost never leaks into the coolant supply and if it ever did it would be total failure before that. Time to upgrade the cooler with a aftermarket one. The stock coolant cooled cooler is trash

Bk1 you need to remove the exhaust manifold as well. That’s basically the only extra step Reason being is because the exhaust manifold side gets ported for the bigger exhaust blade to fit

@@ProdigePerformance I'm very interested in this can. Whats the price on the stuffed turbo. For a bk1. I had a alpha speed tune but it was never finished properly due to English touch performance. If I do buy this from you would I have to pay for a re-tune due to him never finishing my tune?

@@joshuamccauley5429 yeah English touch performance has been going downhill. I have maybe 11-12 of his customers come to me to either finish his work or fix it. It’s sad, And yes, you’ll need a retune for any upgraded turbo application. You’re bringing in more air meaning you need to add more fuel to correct the mixture.

Whoever told you that must’ve lied or didn’t take care of their gen lol. I have customers going on 2 years already with this turbo and Arashi turbos. In fact if I recall, Brian Paul is making his own stage 3 stuffed turbo now with a Garret bb center cartridge and ported exhaust and compressor housings.
