Hi vid is great do you know if a kids seat mount which is 120mm minimum to 175mm maximum width will fit on that luggage rack thanks

Hi, I have just measured the rack, across the top, width is 140mm on the top rails, the lower rails are 176mm - does that help.

So what do you think about Tortec Rack after 2 years of testing? What panniers you used?
@GlennJobson Жыл бұрын
I am using today, Angers to Orleans on the Eurovelo 6. I have two Altura DryLine 56 panniers and two dry bags on it, perhaps 30kg. Works great, not really thought about the rack, it has just always been there and good. I still use rokstraps on it as well.

Great looking bike, I'm actually amazing they supply it with those pedals. It's better to have none on in my opinion as anyone with an iota of sense will be changing then asap. Looking forward to future vids of this bike 👌

Thanks for this video. Nice to see. I have the 853 version which I bought as a frameset and built the rest from there. Really happy with it the last 2 years and have never had issues with the frame. I was wondering, have you considered buying the frameset instead and build it yourself with the components you like?
@GlennJobson3 жыл бұрын
I liked the idea of buying a prebuilt bike so I could just ride it, the bike appeared to have everything I needed except a few bits. I may as well though have bought the parts as I have ended up disassembling the bike and rebuilding it anyway.

Thanks for the great video, just ordered a croix de fer 20 - and some raceface pedals!
@GlennJobson4 жыл бұрын
That will be great, I fitted the flat raceface pedals before I tried the bike, they have been the best addition, so go, especially off road. Hope you enjoy it.

Nice !! I'm waiting mine for the end of november… The stem isn't too longer ? And the Shimano Sora works well ?
@GlennJobson4 жыл бұрын
Hi, it is a nice bike, great to ride, I didn't like the stem though, the reach was too much for me, so I changed it.
@dumerides4 жыл бұрын
@@GlennJobson Good thank you Glenn. I think I will changed it also, but what size and degree did you installed ? Because I'm waiting the same frame size "L" and hesitate to put 80mm or 90mm (6 degree) stem.
@GlennJobson4 жыл бұрын
@@dumerides I have installed a stem riser and then a 90mm adjustable stem set at around 45 degrees, that makes the bars right for me, the stem is about 90mm higher on the steering tube and then a little higher out front. I had to extend the front brake cable as well, to do that I removed the cable from the outer, threaded a new cable through and extended the outer along the fork with two ferrules and some heat shrink covering. All worked well, didn't need to remove the bar tape to do that.

@@GlennJobson Ok thank you very munch Glenn, I'm looking for a similar solution ;) Have a good ride !
