I've never had to replace a single light bulb in my 2012 Genesis 3.8 with 212 000 kms ....... until now. This has given me the confidence to do it myself. However, I think I have other issues with multiple things happening at the same time. I have three dash lights lit up (ESC, Brakes, and Airbag) as well as several lights not working in the front assembly (Drivers side: signal light, DRL, high beam and LED strip. Passenger side: Low beam). I've checked all pertinent fuses and all are OK. Strangely, my OBDII scanner will not connect either. But your video helps.

DLR bulbs for 2009-2014 Genny are 9005. There are many LED bulbs that can replace a common 9005.

Thanks for the video-I have a 2012 Genny sedan 3.8 and the DRLs do not come on anyamore. the high beams work fine but the drls no longer work after getting some work done last Summer at the dealer. I'm starting to think it is something they didn't hook back up or a fuse but I can't locate the DRL fuse/relay. Any suggestions? Thanks again for everything.

Are the DRLs the small bulbs next to the high beam or which one is that?

Yes the DRL is the small one next to the head light bulb , the lights closes the centre of the car.

You should of taken a before and after picture on how the light looks after but other than that how have those lights been working for you so far till today?

They have been working seamlessly , the first set I tried had the car doing funny things with the indicators but with the set I installed in the video no problems at all.

@@jaden9037 the one I used in the video is the one I found to work with out any codes or flickering for the DRL I had tried to others first that did not work properly, for the headlights I don’t think it mattered as much

@russellridge8623 yes, a better solution would be to show how to actually remove the headlight assembly and change the bulb. The bumper has to come off. This video is a waste of time to even watch if you have hid lights or need to change the passenger side bulb.
