I first saw Genesis in Germany in 1978 and had no idea who they were. I went with my German buddy and was blown away by this band. Every time I watch this video I end up crying because I know we'll never see them together again.In my book, they were they greatest band ever!

What a great concert, tear flowing as Phil trying to hit all the high notes and some how he does it. Best concert I have heard from Genisis in 20 years.

Love it. I am so happy Phil respects Peter and what he brought to the band. You can obviously tell, as he is having a lot of fun singing that Gabriel song.

Seeing Phil Collins do the tambourine dance after so many years is still AWESOME! He is such a great showman.

In the background, there are a lot of old photos and videos, between the '70s and the '90s. When Phil Collins danced with the tambourine, in the background, I can see him doing it on the "A Trick Of The Tail" tour. *IT'S SO GENETIC!!!*

If Phil could do what he did at 3:10, then I am sure he can drum lighter versions of pre- Wind And Wuthering songs. However, i completely respect his decision to retire. I'm trying to say that he is very capable for a Peter Gabriel Genesis reunion, but, like I said, I respect his decision to retire

Beware of the notorious Jim smith. He can be found in his natural habitat, the comments section of genesis videos with Phil Collins as the lead singer. He uses all caps to express his anger and hatred towards Phil Collins and anyone who enjoys Phil Collins music.

Struemer is a great player but his style doesn't fit the song as much as Hackett's did. However I find it ironic that people are complaining in the comments about Phil Collins and the band selling out when this is as much as a pop song as Invisible Touch, it just happened to have Hackett and Gabriel on it.

As I watch this, I notice that the "What's Hot Right Now!!!" column in the top right of the screen lists Flo Rida, Snoop Dogg and Diggy. How pathetic is this word nowadays!!! It used to be that music had to be of a certain caliber such as what I'm watching, but instead chuckleheads today pay homage with their dollars to the ignorance that I just listed. Sad.

When Genesis where Great Collins was only a DRUMMER. Bring back GABRIEL.

Indeed, they became legendary after that 👍
@anotherone59263 жыл бұрын
Right from the start ... the drummer stand-in was terribly lacking, as was Phil's voice !! It's Ripley's. This version definitely not going on my playlist.
