So many harsh comments. Phil can still sing, maybe not as well as years ago but he still can. I just look at it as a chance to see them and appreciate them one last time

Phil has produced so much good music, it has established him as an iconic performer. I think it's amazing he still has the appetite to keep on performing while being in so much pain and deteriorating health. Dolly Parton has said that she would like to sing till the day she dies and if it happened right in the middle of a song she is performing, then she died happy.

Phil Collins has what I like to call a storytelling voice. Even when he’s not at 100%, I’m locked into each word he sings. It’s like when your dad or grandfather would sing you a lullaby. It doesn’t matter how good they actually sound. Their voice just reaches to your soul.

It would be painful to watch if he were as bad as DLR or Axl Rose, or if he didn’t want to be there, but he admittedly is having fun doing it at the moment. He’s been sitting for a few years anyhow so he’s likely used to the motions from the chair. For someone who’s infamously grumpy about everything, it’s great to see him enjoying himself

The only motion he is used to lately is a bowel movement. This pathetic for what one was a very good band.

Should’ve called it the Deluded & Deaf Tour with the comments people put on here about Phil sounding amazing etc. Really? Come on. I’m as much a Genesis fan as any of you but this is truly awful. It’s a shame but it’s true and you all know it. The tour should be cancelled to save Phil some dignity. Rutherford & Banks are a disgrace for agreeing to do it. Money grabbing gits. They won’t be happy till Phil Keels over on stage and dies just like Tommy Cooper did. I’ll stick to my 20007 tour DVD which was brilliant.

@herrrubezahl55543 жыл бұрын
If you want the most brilliant performances you need to go back to at least the WCD tour in 1992 - or go to some other concert with a younger artist or group. This tour is not for casual fans who happen to remember some of the 80s hits from when they were young. A real fan appreciates this tour, because the joy and the feeling is obviously there. For me, this is a truly emotional experience, to see these guys on stage once again. I mean, we all grow old. I took my 73 year old mum for a walk in the woods the other day. We didn't walk as long a distance as we did 10 or 20 years ago, but we had a really great time and we continued our habit to spend time in the wilderness. That's how I view it with Genesis too. There will unfortunately soon be a time when Phil cannot perform anymore and when my mum cannot walk in the woods, but let's enjoy it as long as it lasts!
