You're welcome. I am so impressed that I sent a link to my dad who is a school music teacher and piano teacher. Here is what he had to say: "Thank you. I listened to it just now and your mum heard it as well. Takes me back a bit and I was singing along in my head and also imagining the Genesis version at the same time. A very musical piece of music and well arranged and performed. Makes me feel like finding the album again if I can and buying the sheet music"

I guess I'm about 10 years late to comment. Just saw this. What a wonderful job you've done here. I am a Genesis fan from Duke onward (and subsequently went back in time to discover all of their earlier work). I am a musician/vocalist. I am in a Genesis tribute group based in London, Ontario, Canada. This is my favourite Genesis piece if I had to choose just one. You've really capture the feel Tony intended. Just wonderful. Bravo!

Thankyou so much! I play Genesis tunes every day, and I discover every day something I've never notice before. Their music is amazing, a never ending treasure. I'm a composer myself, and this year Steve Hackett recorded a solo on one of my composition for The Samurai of Prog. What a gift! If you want to ear something simply search for Inner Prospekt on Bandcamp. Do you have some video on you tube of your band playing Genesis?

Absolutely fascinating! I learned the intro of Firth of Fifth by ear many years ago in my teens (although I started in the key of C major which is all wrong, LoL!). I did study piano classically to a reasonable standard and I managed a few bars of this piece again by ear but I never got anywhere near to this superb rendition. I'm deeply deeply impressed with the amount of work you've put into this piece. Wonderful and bravo!

Oh, I played Firth intro (not so well) in C major for years!!:) When I wanted to study the real thing, it was so hard to "delete" my old automations... I play everything by ear, so memory is essential. Sometimes it's a friend, sometimes an enemy:) Thank you so much for your comment.
