Era il 1981. Avevo appena compiuto 13 anni. Ascoltavo un radio che trasmetteva non solo musica di quegli anni (new wave e synt British invasion, che non mi piaceva) ma anche rock anni 60-70. Anthony philips wrote every note of it. nearly, also most of the vocals, please search for the demo he made.

​@@KingCrimson82 I think that's a stretch to say he wrote nearly every note of it. The original chord progression is all Anthony, yes, and it was pretty much unchanged on the final version even though the arrangement was different. The guitar solo section was written by Steve, and the keyboards were of course Tony but they clearly take cues from the original guitar work, and I believe Peter wrote the lyrics but I could be wrong about that part. The final product was a highly collaborative effort, but Phillips deserves a writing credit for sure.

Il y a 40ans, j'écoutais la musique de Genesis, et je me disais que c'était vraiment une chouette belle musique . En 2021 , de grands artistes reprennent ces joyaux mélodiques de la même façon que des orchestres reprennent du Mozart. Bravo à vous , c'était une belle interprétation. 😃😃😃

Christobel Carloff "The Musical Box"is already written as a classical composition. The intro segues in2 a movement,etc.and could be referred to as a "Suite". The only factor that makes it unorthodox,is that it is written 4a quintet of "rock instrumentation ".✨🎼🙏🏼🎼✨🇨🇦

WOW!!!! Beautiful. First time listening to this. You capture drums, guitar, keyboard and vocal and somehow get it all out with two hands, you capture rhythm and pad and emotion and what I love the most is that the most beautiful riffs from every member of the band, the ones that I always focus on when I listen to the song, are all the ones that you select and play, somehow, with just 10 fingers. As the song was approaching the end I was predicting there's no way you could capture what the Taurus pedals do but you did it. I think your Yamaha is perfect for this song, it really brings out the best. THANK YOU.

Wow. You're right. In April 2020 I was in my apartment across the street from Elmhurst Hospital, the epicenter of the US breakout. I was sick for two weeks and felt awful!
