Hello Pinball fans and welcome back to the Majestic Pinball KZbin Channel. Today we will be taking a good look at a sci-fi legend - it's Genesis which was designed by John Trudeau, produced by Gottlieb and released in 1986. This is a wonderful game which is part of the Gottlieb System 80b collection and according to the designer was heavily inspired by the 1927 film Metropolis! It is my mission to help teach you the essentials needed to learn and master real-life pinball tables as well as providing a little bit of their past history too. one of the best System 80 games Gottlieb made. Glad to see that someone is finally making new ramps for them. I hate to think how many of these were scrapped because the ramps were all destroyed.

It's a huuuge improvement over those original gross pink ramps, they hide so much artwork too!

Thanks' for this,I had a really nice example of that machine about 15 years ago and had to sell it because I moved but it was a lot of fun to play and had some nice features.

Southport had one 10p play 5 balls. And it was NEVER serviced. It was horrible watching it decay. Clear ramps.. very nice, the flash lamps underneath, I would change to a blue, to enhance that Jacob's ladder effect.

Been playing this one at my local and had no idea about the robot reveal. In fact, it took me a while to realize it wasn't somehow themed around the band Genesis. I figured it was some concept album they did.

Haha thats amazing. Its a pretty 'out there' theme - general consensus seems to be that it's inspired by the old film Metropolis.
