Nice 🎉 Haven’t seen a new video in a while. Hope to see more of these in 2024. No one does it better than Bowen.

When you complete a body part it randomly lights a ramp to start mulitball, sometimes you are lucky that if you complete legs or arms that will be the ramp it lights for multiball and will start the multiball. If you complete two body parts without starting the multiball it will light both ramps for multiball. If you shoot the vari target you get one letter in the body part that is most completed if you have a few that are the same level you get a letter in all that are the same completion level. If you go over an inlane roll over it will light the vari target for a short period and shooting it will give you a letter in all body parts. If you shoot the drops in order 1, 2, 3 it will give you a letter in all body parts. You only get an increased multiplier for a completed body part that is needed to build the robot. So if you complete arms twice without completing the robot it doesn't give you another PF multiplier for the second arms. So you have to actually complete the robot to increase your multipliers past 4x or 8x in the case of multiball. I have had a Gensis for years, restored and clear coated the pf on it, NOS plastics, and translight. I have made my own replacement PF windows and also make and sell them sometimes on pinside. I know the old gottliebs get a lot of hate but this will probably be the last pin I would ever sell. I think I have a gameplay video of my genesis on my youtube channel somewhere.

Bowen makes it look so easy! I've played that exact copy of Genesis and those ramps are evil when you are a mere mortal.

Genesis is a simple machine, but a fun one for sure. Nothing overly complicated and those big ole ramps can be a challenge to complete. Great machine for its era and a fun one still today.

I always was more of a Bally and Williams player but this one i played a lot in my favorite arcade. Love the collecting stuff and used a lot of flipper techniques like the alley pass in this game. A fairly simple but exciting game. Thanx for posting!

You qualify a multiball every time you complete a body part. But if youre in a multiball when you complete one you won't get another immediately after. Plus multiball doubles whatever playfield multiplier you currently have.

My Genesis has only one lit ramp and switching by slings or pops. I guess you can adjust it with switches on a circuit board. I tried some settings but not all. Inlane pass never drains on my game. I try to shoot vari-target as much as I can. If not, I miss it when needed to open the robot
