The your playing is flawless, but the real star is the sound and production. The song has much more verticality to it than the original. It's like coming from a club gig into a cathedral. You've somehow manage to improve upon an already legendary tune. Absolutely wonderful!

Thanks a Lot The lead sound is made with a combination of 2 sounds from the Cubase Factory VST. I've use the Monolgue synth with these 2 sounds (70''s lead mixed with widesceen) I've tweek them with some Ping Pong dealy and a bit of phaser. I've used the bass pedal sound in the Halion Sonic VST bundle The mellotron sounds has been made with M-Tron I thinks that's it

I think Wind and Wuthering was the last greatest Genesis album recorded. After that, it got too commercial and dull. I used to play this track over and over again I loved it so much.

Sounds great, just about right on actually. I would send this to at least Steve Hackett, I think he would be impressed. Tony & Phil wrote the song but Steve's guitar blazes through it. By the way, an example of pure Phil Collins drummer extrodinaire Brand X Disco Suicide. Phil's side project let him get his chops every now and then since he's into jazz/rock fusion and that's another band of awesome musicians. Wind & Wuthering was Steve Hackett's last album with Genesis as you know, and his favorite.

Phil Collins weirdly underrated as a drummer, definitely a master of his craft back in the day! Nice cover too!

His playing back in this era was very influential. The devolution into the empty pop of his solo career and Genesis reunion changed all that. I heard him asked in an interview ahead of a Genesis tour coming out of his "retirement" if they'd be playing certain classics. He said he would be drumming, but there was no way he could "get around the kit" anymore to perform those songs.

Excellent work again! Just came here from your Genesis medley. This makes me laugh though (not because of your exceptional work!). I've been drumming Genesis stuff for many too many years but I just can't hear the '1' in the right place in this song! I can still play it but it fries my brain having to add phantom extra beats back in to come out of sections in the right place!
