Hi Aman! I love your channel- what a good resource for prospective students. I think it's so true that GC grad programs really differ in the amount of freedom/ time for extracurricular activities. Wishing you the best with your job interviews. I'm a GC and started my KZbin channel last month! I specialize in preconception/ART and am posting videos on those topics, which might be of interest since you may be going into prenatal.

Thank you so much for posting these videos about GC! They're super helpful because I really don't see a lot of these kinds of videos anywhere talking about GC student life, application cycle tips, etc., and they're super insightful. I found out about GC about 2 years ago when I first started my biotech job, and I found that it checked a lot of things I wanted to have in a career. I do like the biotech field, but I've always been more interested in pursuing something in healthcare because I find that I naturally am always wanting to help people. Plus I just really like genetics! :) congrats on almost finishing your masters in GC!

Loved this!! I have been wondering, how do you see the ability for growth later down the line in your career? Are there opportunities in academia or director roles at hospitals?

That's a good question! The field is constantly expanding and there definitely have been GCs who went on to get pHDs or take on leadership roles.
