Congratulations!!! I found you because I have EDS and was finally diagnosed at age 53. Well, this week, at age 54, I was diagnosed with ASD. And I hear that it is more common in people with EDS! We NEED you as a genetic counselor! We need more of genetic researchers too! Anyway, Congratulations!!!

But, girl if you’re thinking UCLA - talk to me I've been through every part of that hospital- ICU, pediatrics, adult/general wing, CV ICU, genetics w/ eds, CMT4C etc! Honestly worst patient experience, after finding my genetic conditions disregarding them and not testing my spinal fluid... They sent in the psychiatrist and told me I had "hysteria" when in fact I had gullian barre syndrome. We need more genetic counselors like you!

Dr. Francomano is actually in Indiana now! The society opened a clinic at IU back at the end of 2019. I got really lucky to be one of her first patients in IN, and she really is the best!

That's amazing they opened a new clinic! She also helped me and talked to a surgeon when I was in hospital for diverticulitis, the guy who took the call was an intern who pretended to be the surgeon and didn't tell anyone she called or me for three days after the fact. That hospital almost killed me for real, I'm still scared to go back and that was almost a decade ago. God Bless EDS Doctors......and Geneticists! Much Love and God Bless
