Yeah, me too. For years, I thought I didn't have one, then I realized it was her. It's really peculiar, because I don't even know where I first heard her, or anything. My earliest memories of listening to her on KZbin involve me searching for her because she popped into my head, that's the thing. Like I already knew she existed. I think that was early to mid 2010--pretty sure it was Space Heater. I know I already had been listening to her before this came out, because I remember noticing when Cannibal Babies was posted because KZbin notified me. Ok, so I must have known she existed somehow. But HOW? No idea AT ALL. None. For just about anything else, I have SOME idea.

Technophelia is such a great album and Macho Island literally seemed like an island of a track that stood out from the others. The simple melody and layered vocals are soooo beautiful...I fucking love this track so much. Totally surprised and happy she released a video for it...MONTHS later xox
