yeah some of the posted wait times can be misleading for sure last time I started in Hollywood Studios I did Tower of Terror first the posted wait time was 30 minutes and I walked all the way into the first preshow. Then did Rock'n roller coaster and the posted wait time was 25 and it was pretty accurate so who knows??? (the wait time was about 2 hours when I got off so hit that one early)

Theme park worldwide have a video doing this last September in most of the Disney parks. There was a lot of queue time inflation and closing areas mid queue to make it look like the queue was longer.

I would love to see a Genie+ vs. Standby challenge between you and Alan. One of you uses Genie+, another uses only standby and counts how much time is spent waiting for rides, as well as how many attractions are completed. I think you should also track steps too, to see how much moving around is needed to get between LLs vs. the standby person just walking around the park without zig-zagging or backtracking. This would give a really complete picture of whether Genie+ is worth someone's time and money!

Could be worth including the Multi Attraction Pass process in one of these. Booking an outdoor ride for very soon when you see some weather coming, knowing it'll cancel to an attraction pass, then use that to get on something you haven't been able to find one for (if your desired attraction is included).

I appreciate your work. I'm sure there are many who like Genie+ and I wish them nothing but joy and happy Disney days! However, I miss the simpler days of either paper Fast Passes or the predetermined Fast Passes you booked from home at no additional cost. Planning a vacation to WDW has now become so complex that the vacation can be more stressful than work. I'd rather go to Hawaii or Europe for the same cost.

For me Genie+ is worth it when you save over an hour on the first ride. My time is definitely worth more than 25 an hour. I'm A bit mobility challenged, but not riding a scooter. But I find the lines the hardest thing on my body.

Molly is an amazing Genie+ expert and she knows what she’s doing. No cringey “Disney Genie+ slots” nonsense is thrown in and when things are serious she doesn’t sugarcoat. Heavily appreciate the tips she gives out! Only thing I disagree with her about is the new Mickey cartoons, :(

Molly is one of the best to learn Genie + from, but please know if you are using Genie + with a family of 5 or more your success is not going to be as easy as this seems. Still use all the tips she suggest here as they are 100% correct but its a lot harder finding the best return times when you have 5 members in your party going of a lightning lane. Edit and Molly does mention at the end she is only 1 person and its different for larger families of 5. She rocks!

You don’t need to be on your phone as much as Molly - most people aren’t trying to book as many as her so you mainly need it to book the popular rides.

If you are doing park hopping can you buy only for the second park? IE: starting in animal kingdom (that doesn't really need genie +) and going to Hollywood Studios after only buying for Studios and being able to stack all day in AK or would you need to up the park hopper version?

I was in charge of Genie+ in March when we went last time and we never waited more than 20 minutes for a standby line and that was during spring break crowds! Molly has definitely made me the Genie+ expert in the family!

This was so interesting - loved the end with the calculations per attraction. It will be interesting to see how parks with fewer attractions fare in comparison given their now slightly lower price. We will be using Genie + on our next trip as we are going during a holiday week and I know it will save us time. Great series, and can wait to see more!

...so with the new changes, you can literally modify what attraction you choose? Example: you book Smugglers run for 12:00. You modify and can change it to Rockin Roller Coaster at 10:00? So not only can you modify times, but you can SWITCH attractions? Making sure I understand this new change! Thanks.

I haven’t been there since you were able to “modify”. Are you able to book a ride, then modify another you previously booked? Are you able to modify it since you already booked it and even though you had just booked something else? Ex- book tower for 7pm at 2pm. 4pm book Mickey/Minnie. 4:15pm notice a better return time for tower. Can I do that?

It's almost like a regular ticket without Genie + is not worth it! Like you have to add Genie to the cost of the ticket and just consider that the price of admission. I guess you could hit most of these rides/attractions in one day without it but if you are spending 7-8 EXTRA HOURS IN LINE, are you even going to enjoy it or is everyone just going to be cranky and exhausted?

I’m stressed out watching you walk around so much…not worth it to the “chill” visitor who wants to ENJOY the parks - whatever the situation poses(weather, crowds, heat). That’s what makes fans want to visit each time…rides are rides at most theme parks now- no groundbreakers are built anymore.😢

I'm not the biggest fan of Genie+. Still wait times for the big rides at HS like Slinky Dog and SWRR are often more than 50 minutes. So it either use Genie or go to the parks later during the day, after 4pm. Which doesn’t always work.

Love these experiments. Request - next time you are in a show give us a quick overview of which direction they are going to make you skoot down the row to fill in all the space. I'm height challenged so try to sit on the end of the row so I can actually see. For example: at BB&TB if sitting on the right hand section facing the stage, they are going to make everyone skoot from the left to the right, if I've already sat on the end by the middle section, I'm going to have to skoot inward, thus giving up my end seat and not be able to see as well. In this case, arriving late might be to my advantage.

Love your content but it would be great if you mentioned the time of year you are at the parks. Since certain times of the year what you show in your videos are extremely hard to do and other times easy. Example using genie+ to go on tons of rides in one day. Easy off season, extremely hard on busy seasons.

I think I’m going old school and hittin up standby from now on. Genie+ changes faster than most ppl change underwear 😂 (y’all best not with the impending jokes 😂), and each time the new “rules” sound more and more like the amendments you vote on during local elections…you’re not REALLY supposed to understand what all the lingo actually means but u sure do have to vote on something (just me? 😂). If there were a test on Genie, I’d repeat grades 🤦🏼‍♀️. But u seriously do a fantastic job of explaining it with every new update.

1st let me say...you and Alan are hysterical a d when you add Max it's a bonus. Now down to business. We won't go to Disney right now. They make it too dang much work and stress. Would you guys possibly do a vlog on Disney Genie plus and lightning lane vs IOA and US express pass. Maybe it will remind Disney how easy peasy is much more fun. We go to IOA and Universal Studios a lot and we live in NY. We have been to WDW about 50 times but we've since switched. We miss WDW but it's just not worth the aggravation. Thanks for the fun.

The magic of Disney is gone for me. The outrageous pricing is gross, especially for the experience you get. Our last trip we noticed the parks are dirty (trash everywhere), too many drunks/unruly guests. You can’t have a great time bc we are stuck staring at our phones. Just wouldn’t work with a bigger group or just kiddos 🤷🏻‍♀️ me alone with my kiddo I can do a lot of stuffs (our record was 13 rides/characters using genie+ at MK on low season) but add one more person and that list goes doooown. Between bathroom breaks, stroller parking, kid asking for a specific snack on the other side of the park 😅 but still super helpful and as usual we use all of our knowledge from your videos during our parks and have the best Time 🙌🏻

Thank you so much for this video. We are going down in 3 weeks and planning to buy Genie + for MK and HS. My big question is - is it worth it for Animal Kingdom or Epcot? I am on the fence about it. At first I said no but watching wait times lately it seems like 2 hours after park opens that all the rides in AK seem to be 1-2 hour waits which I will not do. I will be rope dropping because I am staying onsite. I have a plan but not sure if it will work. Hopefully you will do AK or HS video before I get there.
