So I did this but now my garage door opener attached to the wall won’t work. I press it and I can hear the garage door click, but it won’t start the motor.

Holding the button down sets the limits on where the door closes or opens idk why it fixes it but you it’s probably trying to close beyond the floor

Press - when the door hits the floor press set then press + when the door fully open press set and that’s it
