sir , in the last question since we have transformers in between of motor and generator which will step down the base voltage for motor hence the p.u impedance of motor will be multiplied by factor of MVA ratio only giving ans 1.44 pu.

sir in last question, if we convert resistance in actual value then shift using transforming ratio toward generator from load, and then convert in per-unit. i must get answer as you found, but i didn't (my answer is 1.44). i know my method is lengthy but still both answer must be same even i follow different steps. i checked myself twice please sir correct me.

Right. P.u values are not affected by transformer voltage. Only mva affects it

Sir........in that problem where thevenin is not applicable you said, You took resistance of load as 1 ohm and calculated fault current value but you should take it in PU, 1 ohm * 500mva / 20 kv = 1.5 PU isnt it sir ? I=V/R I=20K/1 ohm = 20Kamps I pu= I actual* root 3 * 20kv /MVA........... I pu = 1.384 so, if we calculate PU current it will be 1.384 pu of load current and add it with generator current 5 pu both will give 6.384, CLOSER TO ACTUAL 6.4....... YOUR METHOD IS CURRECT BUT HOW Im GETTING RIGHT ANSWER SIR............PLEASE EXPLAIN ME SIR......

In first problem, while calculating Eg you have considered the fault. Then, instead of taking Xd'' why you took Xd ?

Pre-fault condition is steady state condition so obviously you'll consider steady state reactance Xd. When fault occurs, the initial reactance is subtransient reactance so that one is considered. If the question had said that it is a sustained fault then we would have taken Xd not Xd" to calculate short circuit current.
