Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause | (GSM)
GSM includes the symptoms pertaining to the urinary and genital tract of women which occur as a result of menopause. These include dryness, irritation, burning of the intimate areas, difficulty in physical relation, urinary urgency etc. Most of them can be treated with local application of hormonal gel or creams. Some nonresponding cases can be treated with Radiofrequency therapy, LASER or Platelet rich plasma.
