so true... I'm more of a knitter than a crocheter, but I've calculated the amount of money I'd have to ask on a children's size dress I made once and with material and time spent, it would have amounted to 1390€ if I only charged minimum wage for my time. I think those crochet tops would be a bit quicker than the 3 weeks it took me to make that traditional children's dress... but... that's about the ballpark I can give for comparison.

The cakepops you called cow or hippo are Moomin ☺ They are from Finland and are central characters in a series of novels, short stories, and a comic strip by Finnish writer and illustrator Tove Jansson. The stories are also made into a tv-series and movies. I´m from Norway and grew up with the tv-series!

I was tempted to comment the same thing. It's why I don't sell even though people ask me to. I just can't see most people willing to pay for a fraction of the time it takes to make some of my more complicated pieces. It's also why I'm picky about gifting. I've heard too many horror stories from crafters that say that even pieces the person has asked for and picked out colors ends up being wrecked or otherwise disregarded shortly after it is recieved.

For the marble door and desk, its' easy. Look carefully at the desk. She's using a grid or latticework that the marbles can't fall through to hold them in place. This also allows them to move. You can get that stuff in many different materials and sizes so you just find a small enough size from a material you like (I'd personally use metal as I would NOT be able to keep my hands off it) and enough marbles in the same size and glue, weld, however you want to do it that hopefully lasts it in place, add marbles, add glass and fix into place and you're done!

Saw, yes. and that character is Jigsaw. And no I have not seen any of saw movies. I just know. And that clown is from It and It 2, his name is Pennywise (played by Bill Skarsgård). The rest was Jason (Friday the 13th) and Ghostface from Scream movies. And yes those white creatures are Moomin (or Muumit in my language) not cows. Though to be honest Moomins does looks little bit of a cows or hippos. :D

The book is probably borax or allum crystals, both of which are easily accessible products. Borax is a cleaning product and usually comes in a box, allum can be bought fairly cheaply at the bulk store here in Canada but I’ve seen tiny (expensive) containers of it at Walmart. It’s a really common “science experiment” for kids. It’s been years but from what I remember you’re basically supersaturating a solution with one of them and the crystals will form over time on an object dipped in because the liquid it’s dissolved in can’t hold all of it. All that to say I’d love to see you try to crystallize a product Hope!

I need a video of Hope trying to crochet! I'm sure she's gonna be so good at it!!
@Bella.2cool4you Жыл бұрын
Hi hope!! I realized that in a part of the video you mentioned that you tried crochet but couldn’t understand. My mom and I make and crochet a lot of different things together and sell them! We could give you some tips if you would like! But here Is what you need to know to start out :) Get a hook that your comfortable using!! Steps: make a slip knot ( if you are not aware of what that is just search it on KZbin, it’s very simple. Than stick your hook through the slip knot. Don’t tighten it too tight. Now to start chaining! ( this is an important part to start your pattern. It’s mandatory to ALL creations. So what you wanna do is wrap the yarn around your hook once, and pull it through your slip knot, and than yarn around your hook again, and pull it through the bottom loop. Repeat that step until you get your desired length! Once your don’t that part, start your single crochet! So what your gonna see is little V shapes ( if you did your chain correctly ) you wanna go through both of the loops ( so you have 3 loops on your hook ) 1 is your slip knot, and the other 2 are your chain. So yarn around your hook, pull through the TOP 2 LOOPS ONLY. than yarn over and pull through all the loops on your hook. Than repeat that until your finished that whole row, to go up to your second row, chain up once. ( the same way how you started ) and do your single crochet again! I hope this helped hope! (. No pun intended) if you have anymore question let me know!
