'GOLDEN YEARS TRAVELING' - Hi and a Blessed Sunday to all the Family and Fur Babies. Just wanted to give a shout-out and tell you, Charity & Ben, that this video is a SUPER VIDEO. Because Diana and I are both disabled, we can not travel full time. So I watch a lot of RV videos and have never seen so many useful, practical, and money-saving tips and hacks in one video. The video is well edited and shows so much detail about the 21 items talked about. Job well done you two and Charity your voice is perfect for these videos you produce.

Can't find it but recall one of yours about putting ice cubes in plastic bags. I have a A Frame pop up with a Small freezer and go off grid for a couple of days at a time and like my Adult Bevs by the fire in the evening. A cold chest only keeps ice cold for a day or so and hated having to go to the nearest store to buy another bag every other day or so. I now buy a 7 pound bag, disperse the cubes into Quart ZipLocks and can have my evening coktails for a week or more without having to go to town. Thank You, Thank You, Th...etc. CHEERS !

Just came across your channel in the last two weeks and I've been enjoying your videos. I especially liked this one as we have only had our Class C for three years now. We've been having a blast and really getting good at setting up super quickly and take down is now down to a science. We are not full timers; actually we've been much more active this past summer because we get week long trips in now. One month we get to go for 1 week and then the next month for 2 weeks, then back to 1 week and so on. It revolves around our daughter-in-laws work schedule, but its working and when we only get the 1 week, we do manage to get in three or four days here and there in the month as well. You gave some awesome hacks that I've written down and plan to work on. Thank you SO MUCH for those 21 hacks/tricks. All the best to you and your family. Be safe and ENJOY!

Another great helper - folding board -it is easy, peezy , lemon squeezy and all cloths folded as on display in the store -Flat -which mean space ,plus roll up socks as they do in military, great space savior and for things like jackets and other big things roll up storage bags -WalMart ,Amazon,AliExpress, those extras or not used stuff became flat as vacuumed bags, I absolutely love your hack about gas range and smart appliances ,plus we love our foldable gas grill from Camping world ,but now ,Amazon, and Walmart had them too .with class A its easy to store in the basement and gas tanks - very compact. Command and pill and stick - few of the best things !

I am a 67 year old woman who plans to travel some around the country. I have a 4 cyl engine so I am limited to 1500 GVW. I am looking at the Road Toad Tote that can be set up for camping or to haul cargo such as when moving. My main plan is to set it up with a full size bed and use plastic drawers and totes to carry just what I need and NO boondocking at all. I plan to carry a camp toilet only for emergencies because I want to be able to park near the bath house most of the time. Basically, once it is dark my dog (a Chihuahua who is also my service dog) and I will stay inside. My question (not at all related to this particular video) is safety tips for older women traveling alone. I am choosing this trailer because it is light easy to set up as I have a lot of arthritis and all I will need is shore power for lights, a very small but excellent space heater, fan, charging my phone and laptop and a couple of personal sized cooking utensils such as the My Mini cooker. What is the safest place for me to stay in a campground or RV park considering that I need the bath house. The cassette toilet is so that if I need the toilet, I won't need to leave the camper until daylight.

Charity, Thank you so much for the great tips and hacks. I loved your soft side basket container hack and I didn’t want to spend $10 on each factory made basket so, I purchased dish drying mats (2 for $7.00) and sewed, instead of glued, the seams. They stand up well with the heavier fabric, now I have 2 for $7.00. I also had heavy fabric placemats, unused, sewed 2 together to make one larger basket. I laughed when you talked about the felt like hangers. I use them and love them and my husband dislikes them for the same reason as your husband, so plastic for him as well. Happy travels!

Just discovered you! WOW! What a find! You're amazing! I have one for you for earrings....I have waaay too many. Bought a cooling rack from Wally World - the kind with little "feet" on the bottom. Screwed it onto the wall in my bedroom. Hung my dozens of earrings so I can see them all and they haven't moved in thousands of miles of travel. Easy to take them off for wearing and hang back up. Kinda cute, too.

Have to try that #6-/can’t beat those 2 appliances #10-Soft Start reduces the initial spike of power you get when you turn on your AC. A huge battery power drain. Also allows you to run your AC off of solar (and lithium) #15-love the rope baskets #-16 handy idea for water bottles #-18 pipe cleaner idea is great #-19 would work great in your home as well #-21 we used both those items ourselves. Amazon sells them in multi paks. I think you can get a 1/2 doz at a time. Saves time if you aren’t near a store that carries them!

And ... if you turn the lid around with it's handle inside the pan, you will have more room. If you just squeegee then dry your shower, you basically never have to 'clean' it. Maybe the bottom but no soap scum on the walls. Place a shower rod at the back of the shower to hang the wet shower drying towel on. Been doing that for many many years.
