My tips on choosing a career: Step1. Find at what area your good and enjoy, have interest in at. Ex: math, physics, humanities (history, philosophy etc), biology etc. Step2. Find one area that your interested outside of school (ex, technology, building stuff, how human body works, etc) Step3. List jobs that combine those two. If you cant find one that combine both, find one that completes at least one of the previous steps. Step4: List ALL pros and cons of the careers you chose, know the workplace, types of work, routine of these careers. Quit the ones you think arent that interesting as you thought or simply seem boring to you. Then find your profession. Some observations: 1. DO NOT romanticize any jobs. Every job has its boring part, its fun part, no job is perfect and there will be always pros and cons. Dont listen to ppl pretending the job is perfect. Be ready to list and research all of them and discover which one is more you. 2. Dont get desperate if you dont find your exact passion. By following those steps youre at least getting to a career you have a certain degree of interest in. Remember you can always try new things, your life doesnt depend on this decision. 3. DO NOT THINK ABOUT MONEY ON THE FIRST PLACE, THINK ABOUT IT ONLY ON STEP 3. And DO NOT THINK ABOUT STATUS OR "SOCIAL RESPECT", remeber a major doesnt define you and YOU are the one who shape how ppl view you, not a college decision. Hope i helped.

Something that i’ve found for this video is stereotypical and bias toward some group of people. For example mostly of famous scientists are likely to be introvert however individuals that see this video and pick ‘small group people to join social event’ get 0 point and that make them hard to reach 150-200 pts which is not make sense, also i don’t think most of scientist didn’t enjoy historical or political movies as well because from my POV the plot line is strict and unimaginative unlike other genre e.g. sci-fi, horror, fantasy.

I'm struggling to find a suitable job. In my case, this test is 80% right for me. I'm in the second group and what it says about my personality is accurate. Astonishingly, when I read the recommend jobs, there are about 6/12 jobs, which I have taken into account. In other words, when I think about what I like, what I want to be, I think about those jobs. However, I'm still not confident about choosing these occupations. I'm thinking about marketing and studying in an economic university. Because I believe that what I choose to study may be not the job that I will work after graduate. It depends on our destiny and many people witnessed it. So I scored 120 as “The Leader”, now I’m 38 and changing my career. As a child I was obsessed with science and animals my parents were sure I would become a veterinarian because I read every animal vet book I could get my hands on from the age of 9-15. I ended up becoming a cosmetologist though and loved it for years worked my creative side for 17 years successfully, ran my own business. I no longer want to work on people and I am now looking for a career change into bookkeeping for better work life balance. I am even considering a financial advisor role. All that to say I think the test was pretty accurate for me based on my well rounded interest. As a hairstylist for 17 years people would look down on me as not being intelligent enough for other jobs but I made a lot of money and that kept them mostly quiet lol. Now I want a desk job that doesn’t take up my whole day so I can do the hobbies and things I love with my family but still make great money like I did as a hairstylist. I did bookkeeping for my father’s mechanic business before, I love planning and organizing paper. I hope you all figure it out like I did. I am ready for this new chapter, stay blessed.

Not only should you base what career you want based on your values, interests, desires, and what areas of knowledge you have, abilities, and skills but your personality makes a difference because let's say you have a good hearted personality there's counseling jobs and other jobs involving helping others. It's good to do some research on schools to decide what best meets your needs. I got 160 points I’m soon to be 16 and just about 4 years ago I’ve discovered about the massive corrpution in the educational system (in Romania). And not only this, but also the fact that all these principles the teachers are trying to imply to the students that working ur way up with money in order to get to a high rank with a perfectly calm lifestyle is the norm and tht everyone should be doing this. Since I was little I was a really creative kiddo, always making up plots and playing them out with my figurines (lps, mostly😅). As I grew up, I developed a strong passion towards movie-making, recording, making up scenaries, writing, u name it. Although I was young and really credulous, I loved my hobbies and I really grew into them. I made brilliant videos I still watch today, and as I grew up I started recording myself sharing ideas or just editing action films with those superpower-like effects. Oh, what good times those were. I do not wish to go back, though, as that would imply I’d lose all of the knowledge I’ve acquired so far in life. So, 8 years I went to this private american-romanian school (we were mostly romanian students, we spoke in our native language but our english levels were really advanced). In 5th grade I had to move to a public school because there were no private ones in my home city. So I went to this theoretical college, which normally didn’t have grades 5-8. That was the big boom for me. Teachers had impossible standards for some, but other passed like it was nothing. I was a pawn, they knew I sometimes didn’t even get sleep to finish up work and they changed the grades of most of the students in my class with ones higher/ equal to mine just so that they had a good reputation amongst other schools. They even lost my olympiad/competitions papers more than one time!! And they had no proper answer, they just said “deal with it” or “maybe next time”.Can you believe this? My parents wanted to help me so much, they couldn’t watch me in that suffering state anymore. After 1 yr and a half, I started enjoying Maths more and more. So my parents took some action after 2 yrs, I went to paid after school maths classes once a week - just so tht the teached would notice me!! (Which he did, since now I’m in his class, not much’s changed tho.)I had to double the amount of work, too, cuz there we did harder stuff and the basics didn’t get explained thorougly. My mother helped me more than those classes ever did. And wait for the climax, I took the high school entry exam this year - which was a huge puddle by the way- and the subjects were so easy that I double checked every answer just to make sure I was seeing fine (I started wearing glasses prior to this bcs the main teacher made me sit in the back, behind a giant, so I had to squint my eyes a lot). We thought a lot about moving to another city with a private school, my father came up with the idea, it seemed so exciting at first, but as time passed by and I kept pursuing these 4 harsh yrs, I went there and had an interview in july, and there were definitely some strange things happening. Earlier, I took the C1 Proficiency Cambridge exam, in june. We were still thinking abt how big of a change moving from our home town would be, it would’ve definitely been a massivd change. My dad had known the headmaster bcs he does business in that city, too. He called there, she wouldn’t pick up. They were supposed to send in the cambridge results, but they didn’t. They also had to send the entry acceptance (cuz they already said I’d be accepted) by 1st of september, but they didn’t. Guess what? They sent the cambridge results on abt the 3 of september! If I might compare my current self with my younger self, I’d say that I’m really picky on decision making now and that I overthink things a lot. Whenever I get nostalgic and decide to record smth, I keep thinking I’m not as good anymore and that I shouldn’t even bother. This was a huge change in mindset for me, I’m still working on finding my self (or what’s beyond it) and not caring about silly little things and it’s hard, but it’s gonna be so worth it. About friends, I believe I only have acquaintances atm. I am still in this theoretical college right now, mathematics-informatics profile. I like my choice, but the school -not so much. I’m still in class with some ex-classmates who didn’t even bother learning anything in 5-8, and they talked rudely to the teachers, but they were really cool with it all. Not sure about what my next move will be, but I know that, eventually, there will be a check-mate by my side. The principle of the law of attraction, or whatever you choose to call it, even Newton’s third law, it’s real and it shouldn’t be ignored. All in all, I am extremely disappointed in this country’s choices and decisions. Mostly by how the society is collapsing in every daily aspect. There’s no going back now, all we can do is unite the true and honest people and create a community of our own. Same. That is why I chase after money. Whenever I tell people that. They always say something like you should do what you like and not chase after money. That would be great, if there was something I like but there isn't. So, the only thing left to do is go after money because the other option of not working is considered worst. To be honest, I hate the idea that we have to work. However, if I do have to work I would rather have a high paying job that makes me miserable than a low paying one that makes me miserable. I don't think I am the only one that this applies to. In fact, I think having to work actually is a factor in mental illness and even violence such as domestic violence. I know it won't happen but I pray for a post-work society where people can choose if they want to work or not without mooching or being a burden to others. There is also the thought that making what you like a career is good way to make sure you no longer like it.
