At the ND post-game press conference, Arika claimed coach Auriemma "baited her" into making the comments that led to her technical foul. She also refused to shake his hand after the game. In contrast, Crystal Dangerfield never retaliated after Arika mugged her twice in the open court, and Gino didn't harp on her immaturity afterwards. In this game, UConn not only proved they can defeat the #1 ranked team in the country, but completely outclass them as well.

It would be awesome if they had some michrophones in the audience so we could hear the question being asked

I agree and have stated that many times. I find it so annoying. No matter what the venue it is always the same. It obviously falls on deaf ears.

Ono played great. UConn increased their lead with Napheesa out. Go UConn. Woof! UConn: two seniors, one junior, one sophomore, one freshman. First and only sub off the bench: a freshman. ND: four seniors, one junior.

Ogunbowale is the weak link on Notre Dame's team defense. She does not play man-to-man, all she does is try to reach for the ball as her man goes by her. Williams did a great job taking her off the dribble.

Shes lazy on the defensive end but she can score her ass off
@reginaldthompson16 жыл бұрын
@@Bobbarker23455 Oh, yes she can, however, Dangerfield and of course the rest of the UCONN defense took that away from her in the second half!

@@Bobbarker23455 they thought that they should have beaten UCONN, and once they saw that they were losing, they started playing like sore losers.

I was just surprised to see Notre Dame basically give up at the end. No way we should have beat the defending national champs by that many points when they have everyone back from last year.
@kvernon16 жыл бұрын
I don't think they gave up -- but they were becoming increasingly frustrated, let their emotions get the better of them, and played more recklessly. I do agree they shouldn't have been beaten that badly, especially on their home court -- perhaps they were completely caught off guard by our new dynamo, Christyn Williams!

Geno lost a ten point lead and then a nine point lead without doing anything. Uconn needs a women coach. Geno walked by the victorious coach, Muffet, without looking her in the eye. Geno lost again to Muffet. Muffet.
