I have to admit, as a Seahawks fan I did not anticipate this fiir weeks ago. We knew that Geno could take care of the ball and throw for a higher percentage, but pushing the ball while doing so the past two weeks has been a revelation for his career. Let's keep it up in NOLA this week!

Good catch on that clip, reall good pass-pro by the bookend T's. I live about 2 hours from WSU so I'm familiar with Abe Lucas, when Seattle snagged him in the 3rd round I knew they had a steal. Cross and Lucas were brilliant picks by Pete and John, they look to be ahead of the curve for rookies in only 4 games.

22:52 Geno also had Walker with a walk-in TD on that RB angle route out of the back field. Would’ve been an easier throw too from his unorthodox drop back he did on that play. It’s a testament to the game Waldron and the Seahawks offense put together that they were just getting everything they wanted and then some almost every play, absolute clinic

The more film I get to see where it get a better look at the oline. The more I'm convinced Abe Lucas was the best pick of the draft. Woolen gets the shine and he's been awesome but Lucas is gonna be a top 5 RT for years. These pockets blocking angles so clean.

The Seahawks have their QB, now they need to go all-out in the draft for the defense. Had they a decent defense now, they would be a Super-Bowl contender. Schneider is back to his magic, how he fleeced the Broncos to load up on draft picks; moreover, those could be high draft picks in 2023, being that Little Wilson is revealing what he has always been--refusing to follow any offensive coordinator's game plan, always whining he didn't have enough O-line protection to hold the ball for 20 seconds in his attempt to create a highlight, rather than another 3&out or a sack for a 10-30 yard loss...or a strip sack. Of course, rather than take any responsibility, he is going to toss his present O-line under and 18 wheeler loaded with Idaho spuds! POOR OLD MAN! Oh, and how many of you still wish the Seahawks had signed Baker Mayfield? 🤪🤪🤪🤪

Russ is too short for a QB, thus he needs to ran around and master the baloon throws! He couldn’t see through the pocket! That enables his offense team who are trying to protect him, couldn’t catch-up where he went as their backs are against him!! 😂🤣

what I don't understand is on that lockett catch where he fell and G got planted why dint t cut up? he hesitated on an easy score.. was he told not to score there? cuz that's an easy 6 for T no jokes... also on that drop in pass to the corner of the end zone #84 gave up on his block and almost destroy the entire play fora sack, if he stays on his man G isnt thinking about oh no what now he follows through the pass and its deeper in the corner and its a TD.. PLEASE stop abandoning the play or your post, stay on your mad just like the play to lockette where he fell down, the left tackle #89 and middle #67 totally blow it, we can't have that for perfect ball.. stick to your assignments!!!!
@spiderwebb222
@spiderwebb222 Жыл бұрын
On Lockett, the defense expected him to cut up, it wouldn't have been an easy score, he'd have been tackled by two guys around the 3 yard line or so. He tried to send them the wrong way and spin out of it to the open field but he slipped. Could have worked too if he didn't slip. The block by #84, that's part of the play design. Hold the edge long enough for the QB to throw if the play works, if it doesn't then slip out as a late checkdown option. It's a good way to combat "green dogging", where the guy who has #84 in man coverage can add on to the blitz. If he blitzes and then you slip by him it's a walk in, obviously doesn't always work out like that though. The problem was Geno felt the pressure coming from the left and drifted to the right, if he stayed more in the middle of the pocket he'd have been fine and able to make an unpressured throw with a nice base
