And knows how to show the good sides only. Would the styles have longer patterns, he would mention this. Would the memory for styles be larger, he would tell. Would the Euro organ have slow rotary and the Hammond emulation be good as the clones from Viscount, he would say.

Ben al reeds ruim n jaar in het bezit van de Genos ,moest even wennen omdat ik voorheen altijd n Tyros heb gehad. Maar door het bespelen en bestuderen van de Genos heb ik ontdekt dat er veel en veel meer zit dan ik in eerste instantie heb gedacht toen ik overstapte naar de Genos. Je moet er veel tijd in steken om de dingen te ontdekken maar het zeker wordt beloond en het ook een instrument is wat zijn geld waard is. Zelfs als n eenvoudige speler kun je er een heel een heel mooi stuk muziek uit halen .

Normalerweise sind die Pianisten, die Organisten, die Klassiker, die Jazzer oder die „Entertainer“ ein Volk für sich. Jeder sein Ding…. Peter Baartmans kombiniert alles miteinander. Aus dem Stegreif…. Tonart und Tempo egal. Bach ist seine Bibel. Es gibt niemandem sonst, der uns Keyboardern so vielseitig und anspruchsvoll die Workstations und Tasteninstrumente vorführt… Super Peter! soo möchte ich spielen :-)

This keyboard has the most realistic sounds and rhythms on any synth I have ever heard ! Yamaha has triumphed over any of the Tyros sounds or rhythms . Does it have a weighted keyboard .? What does it weigh ? How many keys ... 76 or 88 or 61 ?

76 key only. Not weighted but a much better keybed than cheap keyboards. One of the best organ type keybeds as they had on the Tyros keyboards. 13kg. Compacter and lighter than tyros 5 76 key.

When Peter is using the volume pedal is that only to control the volume of the lead voice and not the whole keyboard?

Yes, use volume only for right voices.

This is helpful for organ and accordion, but also for brass and wind. Some people use it, when they play a piano/ pad layer, to adjust the level of the pad.

The "boat" is this long on the market and needs no updates to be up to date. I think, there's no room for improvement. Maybe something like Ketron did with the event, that uses audio loops for drums, chords and phrases and has smooth transitions between chord changes. But I guess, Yamaha prefers a solution, that does comparable results, but is extremely flexible about bpm.

The release of Genos 2 showed, how Yamaha desperately searched for possible improvements, but didn't fix the imperfections of Genos 1. They didn't keep all the Genos 1 styles as legacy to ensure, that Genos 1 registration banks works perfectly on Genos 2.

That's right, Peter is a master of presentation. I played Tyros 4, now I have Genos. It is my opinion that this is a completely different, better and more modern sound in favor of Genos.

Mag sein, aber in solchen Präsentationen sind so viele Rentner.... Ich sah auch schon mal eine Präsentation, die versuchte, jung und hip zu sein und eigentlich die anwesenden Personen eher abstieß. Die heutige Musik ist ja so beschaffen, dass der technische Fortschritt des Genos gar nicht zur Geltung käme, dass man eigentlich es auch locker mit einem 10 Jahre älteren Instrument auch perfekt spielen könnte.
