Every time there is a scene where traveler is appreciating and compliments paimon I get so emotional. During the sumeru quests paimon seemed much more insecure and stressed, and to an extent she still is; but the traveler is assuring her now!! Almost 3 years ago Paimon and this game saved my life, I was checked into a rehab due to trying to end myself through rampant drinking. It was during some of the harshest times of covid and we were perpetually indoors and my mental state was still in tatters, by chance I saw this game and downloaded it to my phone! I fell instantly in love with this beautiful world and all the wonderful places I could go to and see while I had been so trapped in my real life! With their help I was able to make it through my rehab and find more value in my existence, I've also never touched a drink since! So thank you Paimon and the people who lovingly crafted this world and characters and to the community who keep reminding me why this game is so important to me! I'll walk Teyvat with you as long as I'm able! 💙

That beginning of seeing when the traveler fished out Paimon gave me whiplash, it feels like so long ago. We joke about her being emergency food and all that, but we could not ask for a better travel companion. Going to be sad when we say goodbye in one way or another.

I love how both anniversary fan songs this year are highlighting our long journeys. This game has a very strong place in my heart. It's literally the reason I'm still holding on as I look forward to the next update everytime I feel like giving up (Its not meaningful, but its keeping me alive and thats okay!). I hold every memory I have here preciously. But its also because of that that everytime I feel burnt out or tired, I panic and feel scared that I might be losing my final hold. Literally bawled at "Actually, you will also feel tired, right?" But then we have the other song telling us its okay to rest and its normal to feel exhausted after so long too. The characters actually care for us, and their voice lines can cheer someone's day up. Just check Klee's voice lines if you don't believe me. And I don't even have to say anything about the birthday voiclines. The smallest details can be the most heartwarming thing and which is why Genshin is the number one game in my heart, despite almost everyone at my school hating it and also me.

I stopped playing genshin since patch 2.8, and now i return on 4.1, it 3rd anniversary. So much memories i went though once again, so much of them, remember those i meet from genshin, tried to contact them but its too late, remember newbie mistake like using primos on the standart banner, so much memories start coming back, and i can hear paimon voice once again, finally hear my dear flying mascot voice again.

I hope I'm wrong... but I get the idea, in the opening scene of the animation that... Lumine has passed away now... and Paimon is treasuring her moments with Lumine in her album... This has made me cry legit. This game has so many beautiful moments to appreciate, understand and process the loss of loved ones. But Kkomda's work always brings in something special to it. Perhaps, what the Traveller's sibling lacked in their journey was a travel companion like Paimon. I heard it was Dainsleif, but considering how the sibling now hates him, must mean that Dain wasnt really the kind of companion that filled the sibling's lonliness. Much as I admit that Paimon can be annoying sometimes, traveling will never be the same without her. I guess this is how it feels like to love and hate something at the same time. Sometimes I do feel Paimon talk a little too much (I mean, duhh, am I not the protagonist).
