This reminds me so much of the moment in Matlida the Musical during the song "When I Grow Up" The song begins with kids singing about the things they think they'll be able to do once they grow up. The ending fade out is very poetic. While the whole world and everyone in it forgot her, the player/Traveler stayed until the very end. The title "I've Never Forgotten" shows when all surrounding Rukkhadevata is white and the song slowly fades, like a firm statement and acknowledgement to her that there is still someone here that still remembers her. Then a pained bittersweet smile and wave facing us; Rukkhadevata's thank you and final goodbye.

As someone who has played since 1.6 and seen the entirety of Sumeru playing it as it was released this song and the video hits a lot. I still cry when seeing it and it adds to the hatred towards the sages for what they did because they really didn't understand their own God at all, practically imprisoned someone she had brought to life in order to help them. Also if you haven't done the aranara quest before the last Archon quest then there's something you've missed that makes this even sadder

i love how this song sounds so cheerful but each and every lyric gets sadder and more bittersweet. It reminds me of how rukkhadevata wanted everyone to be happy despite having to sacrifice and how everyone's love for her transcends beyond just respect for an archon. It hurts how everyone had to forget her but I'm so glad that the traveller acts as a witness in everything (even though this makes it sadder for them as only they remember)

The fact that Nahida IS The Giga-chaddiest Archon in the game is heartwarming, but it's also Sad this little Radish Goddess Knows the true meaning of Suffering and Loneliness more than anyone else. Which is why she can relate to mortals so well. It’s the fact that she herself has gone through similar sadness, neglect, and disconnection, such as "WE" the Traveler wandering around in a foreign land(World), that they themselves barely understand, looking for long lost sibling they may never see again nor may sibling wish to be found. "Our Traveler a being surrounded by “alien lifeforms” that may "LOOK" Like them YET, they may never truly understand or be able to fully integrate alongside and THAT causes a "DISCONNECTION," the DIFFERENCE is that "WE" still have Paimon, She maybe greedy annoying, and Glutton but she's been at "OUR" side since "OUR" first steps into this New Unknown World Correct? Nahida on the other hand wasn't even allowed to be treated as a "Person" she had her very Most Basic Rights abdicated from her right after her "Birth" by selfish men who CHOSE Not to Understand and Simply Judged her as "WORTHLESS" because to "THEM" she lacked "VALUE." Nahida in turn has experienced a strong type of disconnect and loneliness for over 500years... as a result, thus never being allowed to physically interact with anyone imprisoned by the very people who should've been overjoyed by her "Birth," yet in the end the only power allowed to her was the power to watch over the people of Sumeru only through their dreams...Even though she was unjustly imprisoned, mistreated, ostracized, criticized and even loathed for simply "EXISTING" she STILL tried to help her people with nothing more than the "Kindness" she herself wasn't even allowed to have. It's seriously heart wrenching. Nahida IS a Kind-Hearted Goddess, the Fact Neuvillette a Victim to the Celestia's machinations even believes so proves this as a fact, If your Worst Enemy deems you as a good person and was unjustly and cruelly punished than that person suffered for no reason other than the cruel selfish mechanizations of those who enlisted such punishment and they in turn will Feel the Wrath of Justice. Cyno Proved that when he confronted the Head Sage, acting as Judge Jury and YES Executioner. The otherside of the coin was that Nahida was even willing to save the Dendro Dragon, someone who deemed her as something that should die due to her predecessor "Stealing" her powers, yet Nahida even if it meant her Own sacrifice to do so wanted to save her from her illness. With "OUR" help she achieves just that thus changing it's tune if only a little. IF THAT doesn't tell you this little Radish Goddess should be LOVED and PROTECTED I don't know what the heck does. She and Furina have suffered ENOUGH Tragedy and Loss cut them both some slack kay?

Bro, I've changed from Japanese dub to Chinese dub a couple month ago because of how the mouth of the characters were always out of sync with Japanese dub. Hoo boi! Let me tell you. Chinese VAs for Genshin Impact are just *chef kiss*. Absolute gold mine! Never changed to Japanese dub until today.

In all of the previous Genshin animations KKOMDA usually never drew pupils on the characters, his/her characters always have wide blank eyes but at the end when Rukkhadevata started singing and opened her eyes we could see her green pupils !!! Maybe it's a small detail but I want to believe that it has a special meaning
