2.8 Was my first major event I ever participated in (started playing the game in 2.1), so I was in a similar situation like you. Summer event has always been my fav recurring event for that reason. Yeah I can already see the Natlan clues for that Summer event, like the Dragon, but also those origami animals, I think all were inspired by real life animals from South America. Mesoamerica was a huge influence in creating Natlan, similar to France influencing Fontaine. As someone who has done 2 Summer events, finishing it will be a bit of a marathon. It's the longest single event (that isn't World Quest or Archon quest). So yeah, pace yourself. Out of the 5 stars shown, I'll only be pulling for Navia since I REALLY want her, she's so fun. The only reason why I never got her the first time was because I just spent a lot of primos on Neuvillette and Furina and I was in saving mode again. If Navia wasn't going to show up, I was going to skip 4.8 all together. Normally I'd want someone like Emilie, but I don't really need her. I might get her down the line. No interest in Yelan or Nilou. I just don't like Yelan's playstyle and Nilou is someone I just don't need, especially since I got enough Hydro chars already. Natlan chars looks amazing. We got Geo, Hydro, and another Dendro. Dendro guy, his weapon looks like a claymore, which is nice since we don't have a Dendro Claymore user yet.

I may pull for Emilie depending on the 5.0 livestream. I am only really partially interested in the hydro Natlan character so far. The others not so much. So maybe pulling for Emilie and then save for Pyro Archon is most likely.
