I'd argue that Diluc and Kaeya should be switched -- Kaeya obviously does have MC energy and it is SO obvious that they're building up to him being plot important, but taking his backstory into consideration and the lore from his hangout + last years summer event, it would be poetic for his last act to be martyring himself for his brother, defying his fate, and showing true sincerity for one of very few people he actually cares about. (plus we'd then get Diluc holding TWO family members in his arms while they die :) )

Due to Nahida can possess puppets. I imagine Scara sacrifice himself to save someone, heavily injured, missing some of his robot body parts then lose consciousness. The bad guy going to finish him off, there's slow motion, then Nahida voice speak in his head and take over his body and go savage mode.

Raiden's an interesting one, because if we get any form on a time skip they would not be able to hold themselves back from having Raiden (The Puppet) shown dead, a 1 armed or tech armed Wanderer showing up as the heavy hitter, and as a crowd shocker he's wielding the Musou no Hitotachi... Either with him and Ei reconciling-agreeing to work together in one body, or Ei's conciousness is in a coma and Wanderer is housing her power. Otherwise Raiden is at worst going MIA cause she is just Built Different, like she's as likely to survive on the battlefield as Nahida is to survive off the battlefield in my eyes.

This entire video I was thinking about how it would be so cool if Raiden regained her memories of scara after seeing him fighting and the two fight together, but in the end raiden sacrifices herself for Scara. Also I think Shenhe would protect Chongyun bc she’s his aunt, and he’d be bedridden. And I think that bc Albedo would be ok with dying since he’s a homunculus, Rhinedottr would be fighting too so that she could remove albedo’s consciousness and remake him after the fight. And I think that the Hexenzirkel would be in the fight too and I any of them were to die I think it would be Nicole and maybe Alice

In all honesty, with Genshin's habit of killing off NPCs/characters we didn't know existed until we saw them die like Focalors, and Childe dodging his death flags like he's Neo from the Matrix, I doubt anyone in our current playable cast is going to die in the Celestia battle, especially not permanently. If anyone kicks the bucket the Traveler will likely find a way to revive everyone with their ability to "reweave fate". If someone is going to be permanently offed, I'm guessing it might be either the Abyss Sibling, the Tsaritsa, or Paimon (tho I feel like it's more probable Paimon will transform into someone/thing more powerful and not die). That being said, I've been really itching for something like this to happen in the game and hopefully Miyoho will surprise us. (watch me regret that statement later 💀. if the final battle unfolded the way Cyyu predicted I'm going to be in shambles bc most of my favorites are either dead or MIA)

8:05 - Am I the only one who sees Noelle as that one side character that can somehow stall the Big Bad for like an hour straight, it confuses Big Bad to no end, and she just immediately stops when the MC arrives because she doesn't have confidence in herself and believes she'd only get in the way? That or insane durability character that slowly gets widdled down only due to her being distracted saving people during the fight/stall, putting others' wellbeing above her own, but can still manage till the MC arrival.

I think Venti, Furina and the Tsaritsa would all be brutally tortured before being either kidnapped or killed, Celestia is definitely pissed at all three of them, though for somewhat different reasons. They’d want to do the same to Neuvillette but I don’t think they’d be able to go up against a fully fledged Sovereign that was ready for combat along with the other dragons unlike when they first beat the Sovereign Dragons, who were presumably unprepared due to living in peace (I haven’t gone over the dragon lore in a while so this might be wrong)

Venti is either the lore-bomb deus ex machina, or vanishes in an attempt to protect Mondstadt now that Dvalin (probably) has the Anemo Authority. I don't think he has any straight up death flags, but I'm not well-versed in that sort of thing.

Focalors destroyed the seat of the hydro archon, nothing says that the authority can't be returned without destroying the seat and/or the gnosis. Of course, this hasn't been directly confirmed yet, which is why i said "probably"

And if returning Authority was that easy Focalors was just idiot, She didn't need to slip herself or kill her divine half or destroy hydro divine trone. She could have just set And waited until Neuvilette likes people give him his Authority And done, no spliting yourself So you could be executed( So Neuvilette has his Authority back so He can transform Fontanians into true humans )but still ALIVE and crying on her trone while the floud Is happening just give Authority to the Dragon boy And you Are Okay. (Also by the talk where Focalors says that She Will destroy hydro divine trone, Neuvilette imidiedly understand that She wants to give him his Authority back ,so divine trone And sovereign Authority Are conected in some way)

But if this is what Venti did (again PROBABLY), i have no doubts that Focalors's method was more permanent, and that the Anemo Authority could easily be yoinked again, unlike the Hydro Authority. Again, IF that's what happened. We don't know what exactly it was because Venti didn't explain it, and Dvalin called it "the power of the anemo archon".

@petrpopopepe1764 There's a lot of 'what if' plot holes in Fontaine that could potentially have made Furina's existence pointless and Focalors dying for nothing. Like Raiden straight up said f Celestia 500 years ago and confiscating Visions, which Celestia needs humans to have. She didn't even try to hide her intentions that went directly against Celestia. Between her, Nahida being imprisoned, and Venti just being absent, Focalors could've just stayed in the Oratrice and bid her time. The thrones existed before the archons or the gnoses so its probable that a throne can be destroyed without the archon having to die. And when you really get technical, it wouldn't matter if Furina went undiscovered or not to save Fontaine. Focalors' entire plan hinged on Neuvillette pardoning the people. Really hoping come Natlan Celestia responds to Neuvillette regaining his dragonhood or it really drives home that the entire Focalors/Furina angle was pointless.

Kaveh will survive because of Alhaitham only. If Alhaitham leaves him alone for a moment or something, Kaveh will die. Alhaitham won't die for Kaveh, but he will assure his survival. Kaveh will fortify things and built weapons. He will hold his own but I feel like he is too emotional to actually survive if Alhaitham doesn't watch his back. Neuvilette would get targeted like crazy! Celestia is probably salty about him. He is a powerhouse, tho, like you said. Wriothesley made a freaking massive boat to save everyone in fontaine. I'm sure he can make another survival plan for Celestia going down. However, ,no matter how much Neuvilette struggles, Wrio will have to resist the urge to help him. They're friends (canonically, they both say they are in close contact). If he tries to help Neuvilette, he'll die because he can't tank Celestia direct attack. Otherwise, he will make it.

You missed my favorite grouping: Who will fight on Celestia's side? I've always felt Mondstadt will be ground zero. Remember, we've only had the prologue from them. Celestia will start out dropping nails on strategic targets. Totally agree Jade Chamber will be taken out immediately.55 ETA: I have Childe dead in mine because the Fatuii (and I believe there are factions within them) will target his family & he'll turn on them. If he dies it will be heroically. But I can also see him MIA after doing something stupidly heroic: "Where's the biggest/baddest thing to fight? You! I'm coming for you!" But I do think he'll turn on the Fatuii because of his family (and/or his family will be put in danger in an attempt to blackmail him).

I mean jean would be on the front lines, while barbara would be the healing unit..furthest from the battle. If jean is dead, barbara is dead too. I would say Jean would be bedridden trying to protect medic unit, but lisa shows up and unleashes some true power that she has hidden from everyone till now. says something like "Mondstadt needs its leader more than ever, more than a librarian at least.." and then takes down shit tonne of enemies with herself. Thus jean bedridden, barbara alright and heals jean making her condition less stable, but Lisa dies in this.

While you're absolutely right about that, and he probably won't die if most of the cast survives, it wouldn't necessarily save him from death in a scenario where a large amount of the cast dies. There have been plenty of characters where the biggest tragedy surrounding their death comes from the very fact that they were *so close* to learning not to see themselves as a tool, so close to accepting love and help from other people, but ran out of time or out of luck. If Genshin intends to be a tragedy, Xiao dying anyway isn't out of the question, or all that thematically inconsistent. It's just that nobody knows for sure whether Hoyo is taking it that direction or not. There's an even chance that none of these characters die at all, too.
