Wow, congrats on Fischl! She not just has a cool design and fun personality, she is also really good. One of the best 4 stars of the game, even after almost 4 years of this game running.

The reason Itto wasn't doing his cool charged attacks btw was that he needs to gain stacks by doing other things. Think there's a couple attached to specific hits of his normal attack string, as well as hitting with his skill and enemies hitting the taunt. You can tell how many stacks he has by that glowing face on his back.

his 2nd and 4th hits (his combo isn't interrupted from dashing or using his skill, unlike most characters), hitting the enemy with his skill, every time Ushi takes damage and when he despawns. You also generate charges on every normal attack while his burst is active.

"Fast Equip" is a recent and somewhat weird feature we got; it is working as intended in this video. It isn't equipping full artifact sets for all your characters because you do not in fact have full artifact sets that would definitely be useful for them. Something is not always an improvement on nothing. (What it actually does is look over the playerbase and try to copy how in general players are equipping a specific character; this isn't too useful for very experienced players because they're specializing characters for specific purposes in a team, and it isn't too useful for brand-new players because they don't even have the things everybody is putting on a character. It does serve some purpose in the midrange, but I think loadout slots would have been a better use of development effort. Granted, I'm a Lumine main, thus using a character who should ultimately benefit from at least seven - possibly ten - different sets of equipment at differing times and my desire for loadout slots is a given.) That said, you're in a tutorial chapter of the game: the game is actually going to still lend out trial prebuilt copies of your new characters just in case you never thought to give them levels or equipment - or even put them in the party. (Again, you can see a trial character's information and build: while they don't give you superpowered versions it's worth noting what the developers chose to put on somebody you're trying out.) You're expected to be at least a little overpowered until the end of the game's following main arc. After that keeping up may require some work. At this moment, Noelle is your best miner but Aether and Kaeya will do for what you need. Ideally you want somebody either using the claymore weapon class, putting Geo energy out into the world, or both. Regular sword users will do if necessary, and in fact are fine for the most fragile ore categories. There are also a few outliers with mining-suitable powers (these will generally be things that deliver powerful impact force - like claymore swings - in combat as well, such as Klee's bombs and Yanfei's charged seals; Yanfei's personal abilities with ore is actually a minor and subtle plot point when you meet her). If you do have to mine tougher ore with a regular sword, I recommend using repeated plunging attacks: it'll be faster even with the need to climb and jump. With one careful exception so far, it will never be raining in a capital city outside of a cutscene. This is mostly because the weather system is good at screwing up the intended design of cutscenes, partly because it would look odd all the NPCs and animals in a city aren't reacting to the weather, and partly because all the work that goes into making rain look good on grass, rocks and so on needs orders of magnitude more work for all the less absorbent surfaces in a city. A surprising thing about Monstadt is how many secrets it's still doing a good job of keeping that way. Most of the NPCs you see have at least one mild one, in a few cases the secret is significant, and every rose on Noelle's outfit represents a major secret she's keeping about another of the Knights. In a few cases, such as with Kaeya and Lisa, it's simply that there are stories too depressing to burden most people with hearing, and so they practice mannerisms designed to avoid serious conversations. And of course, there are plenty of things about the entire nation that you never think to ask about the first time you're there because you don't have enough basis for comparison yet.

I have seen like a dozen genshin playthroughs and not a single time did i ever see anyone needing to ask kaeya for help for the riddle 😂 Zyox may finally have competition at solving puzzles

Welcome to genshin, be prepared to not touch grass for 4 years 😂 Im just gonna build on this comment, instead if doing new ones. Feels greedy to fill the comment section. So for the story duration, it definitely feels like each region is significantly longer since for me each passing region it felt less like we were a part of the story and more of an observer. My fav out of the starter free ones is Lisa. I am AR 60 and use her nowadays again. Though through mid game i used others. Same goes for noelle. I valued her shielding and healing a lot in early. Since mid Inazuma, ive been using her again. For other favs it include Yea, Ninguang, Beidou, Tighnari and baizhu. Even though i am gay, i do enjoy a certain type of female character 😂 36:40 there are certain eagle like birds that just circle on the sky and dont disappear. You need to shoot one of those. One can be found on heart island in liyue, make sure to bring a friend. There is a co-op surprise on the island 37:12 pyro is strongest against cryo shields and wooden shields,ok on electro shields Cryo is strongest against electro shields, good at hydro shields Hydro is strongest against pyro shields. Electro is good against cryo and pyro shields. Dendro is strong against hydro and electro shields 44:45 don’t worry too much about the meta, genshin’s story is relatively easy since you can endlessly repeat any boss fight. Meta only revolves around the Spiral Abyss, Geshin’s endgame. Which can be beaten by only 4* most of the times, depending on the enemies. Play whomever you think will bring you the most fun to prevent a Genshin burnout. 1:01:22 the only characters who have different plunges are those with plunge attack kits and magic users because they will be the colour of their element. Plunge attack characters are Xiao in burst mode and Gaming (Gah-ming) elemental skill. 1:01:45 oh yeah, there exist some weird but sort of viable builds. For example Thundering Fury Heizou. It allows his Elemental skill to be used more often if paired with at least 1 or 2 electro team mate. Which is basically Fischl and which ever other electro character you want to bring.

37:57 I believe you only get an achievement for birds that are flying by default (you can see them flying in circles). Can't recall if we have them in Mondstadt though (there are definitely some in Liyue).

So they are correct . U will need to find a circling hawk/eagle and shoot it out of the air. Usually on mountain tops. You will see these more in liyue.

@@jessetellier8133Also there is one in Liyue that get stuck in a wall, I discover that one while hunting meat pre-Sumeru (there is a lot of boars nearby), friend got the achievement from that one. (I think was Dunyu ruins)

Xianling, Collei and Lynette are free to get, IIRC. Fischl is great, but a bit hart to play with Oz. The golden ring is an audio disk, you just lack the record player at the moment.

Fischl is one of my top 3 waifus in the game. She's so good. But I love Chuunis. lol The others are Furina and Hu Tao.

Fischl Electro Bow You can totally ignore her normal attacks and her Ulti(her ulti does a little damage and summons Oz..but that's it, you don't really use it "deal damage") her Skill is where she is broken(specially at c6), fischl's E(skill) summons Oz on battle field, who will do coordinated electro attacks on the enemies. Her ulti also summons him with some extra damage and movement(she turns into Oz for a few seconds and deals damage to anyone on her path) but Oz's damage still scales with her Skill talent only. The thing is as you unlock her passives and constellations, you might not be seeing massive numbers, but you will see a lot of big purple numbers on screen, which when added up could actually out dps your main dps. She does so much damage over time, that too without taking the front spot in the party, allowing her to support from behind while you use your main dps to trigger reactions. You must have understood the concept of "energy" by now, when an anemo skill hits an opponent(there are other ways too but I m just giving the basic gist), "anemo particles" are generated. Any character who receives them, will have their burst meter filled just by a little(this works with any elements). This effect multiplies if the receiving character is also the same type as te particles themselves. This energy mechanism promotes taking two members of same element in your team, specially if one of your characters heavily relies on their burst, but has a lot of burst cost and cannot generate energy for themselves that reliably. One such example is Xiangling and bennet core. Xiangling is super strong, but her own energy generation ain't that strong, so you pair her with bennet, bennet both helps funnel energy and buff her. Similarly since Oz will be hitting enemies a lot, a lot of electro particles will be generated overtime. This makes her an amazing battery too, if you have electro character in the team, your burst will be back in no time, and even for other element characters, her particle generation is still a lot, allowing even non electro members to get their burst back up(albeit it ll take a bit longer than it would for electro characters). So fischl is a broken af electro damage sub dps AND a battery. You usually pair her up with hydro and dendro.

Though her true power isn't unlocked until lvl 70 when her A4 passive comes online (ANY electro forward reaction that occurs while Oz is on field triggers a powerful electro blast on that enemy with a very short cooldown (basically just enough so the ability can't trigger itself) with no reaction ICD. (her A1 passive is basically dead as it's too clunky to use and wastes too much time for how little the damage it actually deals). C6 of course is completely silly since it gives Oz a machine gun on top of his bolt-action rifle and Bazooka.

Another person building commentary: I missed the stream but yeah "background commentary" time XD 2:39 Yeah, I'm one of those (Kiryu)... Different from HSR, there is some events where coop friends are used to swap stuff (postcards, flowers, photos etc) for completition. Each saturday and sunday you can also shop decorations/music on their teapots if they have it open like mine and when teapot released we used to visit each other teapots a lot to accelerate processing of decorations. Also different from HSR, the count for offline ends at 31, so if you ever need to clear list, you can use the timing besides RL friends (I have 4 friends who stopped, since they are dear for me in RL I keep them there) 4:53 *sweatdrop* Guild Wars2 player here to be exact... The callout, I think just from the hardcore raiding community there I know like over 700+ play it when I retired from mentoring there. (We joined Genshin to relax mostly lol) 5:19 storywise it depends, do you count world/side quests? because the Aranara quest line took everyone pants down in surprise... for me storyline wise they are way longer than in starrail. 6:12 lorewise, each Archon protect their city from elements even their own... This is important storywise in the future :) Favorite Mondstad character: Kaeya personally because of the many layers I have found to his character. 35:50 Exploration is amusing due to many trolling moments scripted by devs or accidental ones... an example was me catching a butterfly and suddenly glitching under map, somehow drop thru in front of celestia and finally game teleporting me to Mondstad... I was in Inazuma... Noelle has suffered changes meta wise, from launch as healer to dps... then came specific sets, Gorou, Yunjin and Furina has make her a hard hitter dps with a side of decent healing without healing circlet. 1:16:55 Itto has charge attack mechanics, after his ult usually you do 2-3 normal attacks and then leave the attack button pressed for his max damage combo. He is not the only one that have this mechanic. Gorou is a support/soft healer for DEF/Geo characters. 1:27:44 Okay... might as well rip that bandaid... Venti was the example used by the CCP for one of their censor laws, so yeah... don't be shy about those comments lol... is kind of a proud/joke moment for Genshin players in a really twisted way.
