For me personally, 1.0 genshin designs have the upper hand, the theming of the designs and color variety are objectively better. However even with the recently released roster of characters from genshin i dont think they can hold a candle against ww character/facial models, i think wuthering waves definitely has the potential to surpass genshin’s character designs in a few years

Also, the new genshin character designs (lets inazuma onwards) are so much better and cohesive? you have Raiden Shogun, Itto, kokomi, sara, and kazuha. This is hilarious copium

I mean, that depends on how the dev design and fit into the character. Even if we put a character with superb design but don't fit that character personalities and background, even good design can't win over critics. Just me and my opinion.😊
