It is funny what we go through before we find our purpose…you are a special soul Sinead. In my life I have learned to “never ever say never”. Bad things happen and with those bad things, good will bloom out of it. If we let it. Such a positive message out of such pain. It is the human condition. So bitter sweet…mostly sweet ☺️. So glad your voice is out there for so many in need of your message.

Yes, we need to see the red flags and explore WHY someone feels dysphoric, there are different sources that need different treatments

Thought this was great. De transitioners need proper provision in the NHS and data recording how many and why. I thought Stella let the psychotherapists off too lightly though. Obviously doctors signed the prescriptions but I bet there was a multidisciplinary team who worked together and that no one got drugs without the therapists going along with it. The therapy profession seems more captured by this affirmation stuff than the medics.

It’s my understanding that the therapist are afraid of losing their licenses if they question. I’d the patient doesn’t want to question their own thinking the therapist wont question it.

It is wonderful, I just wish they'd realise that people don't think we're bigots for feeling this way.

It's great that the tavistock and gids closed, they used to ignore all the mental health problems and just went ahead and gave out hormones and puberty blockers.

I saw inside the institutions. The therapists are gagged by the apa. Only the patients can speak out is the conclusion I drew. I started speaking out and I went from a lifelong sister to trans women to an ignorant crazy terf in a snap. I don’t know what to do because now I look “obsessed with genitals.” I’m not obsessed with trans I’m specifically alarmed by medical interventions and the people(other patients, not the staff themselves) who are presently choosing to “Pursue phd with agenda to puberty block five year olds” I’ve seen so much It starts with people like me. The patients. (To be clear I did not go to a gender clinic I went to trauma clinic and they were not predators I respect my x therapist. ITS COMPLICATED)

I am here in the US and this queer theory is being pushed hard in schools. Everyone too afraid to say anything, for fear of being called transphobe. It’s nuts…I am fine with anyone living as they choose…but leave the children alone…omg. It is horrifying. This must be so frustrating to you.
