This photo was taken inside the gorilla house in the morning.
Kintaro and Gentaro were playing in the pleasant weather.
While Momotaro's father was resting on a beam, Kintaro jumped from the top step to the bottom step, and then Gentaro played a prank on his father and Momotaro, and they ran away. It may have been a coincidence, but I thought it was a team play (laughs).

Momotaro (father) was born on Jul 3, 2000
He came to the Kyoto City Zoo in 2010.
Genki (mother) was born on June 24, 1986.
I was born in Kyoto and came back to Kyoto.

It’s hard not to compare Gentaro and Kiyomasa, but my goodness Gentaro looks significantly bigger than Kiyo…I know Gentaro is a little older, but it is still impressive.

That's a heckuva jump that he does there at 17:00 and then he pulls another lulu at 26:59. Only Kinny could pull off those moves. On top of everything he's fearless.

They are not mating Annie with Gentero. Kyoto will have to find another female for him, and there are none in Japan.
