I want to purchase every journal you make. Retraint can be difficult, lol. I like the doily pocket and the little jewel on the folded corner made me think of a tie tack. The fabric you chose for the cover is perfect for the butterflies. The mid-century fashion papers are another nice touch. So much to love!

Do you happen to remember the source of the sticker you used on that first journaling card? The one with the yellow and orange flowers. It looks very much like something you would find on bone china tea things (dishes) from the twenties. I really like it.

Kathleen, you just keep making journals that practically make me faint from their gorgeousness. I love the upholstery fabric on the cover, so perfect for a boho journal. The colors you chose for this book are so pretty. And then there are those butterflies! I have been hoarding some of them for my boho journal, and I'm excited to see how great they look on the pages. I do have a question--since they are wall stickers, did you add extra glue or are they sticky enough to hold to paper? I'm in love with the images you found on the New York Public Library site. That pocket that you fussy cut around the woman and the card you used in it are so beautiful together. I've watched the video twice, and I may watch again. I just love seeing this book. Oh, and one more thing--I remembering singing that song in our grade school Christmas programs--the one on the music receipt. I ain't gettin' nuttin' for Christmas (cause I ain't been nuttin' but bad.) Made me smile. Enjoyed my visit with you today. ETA: I wanted to also say that I think the dictionary page ruffle belly band is so fun. I like how you attached it sort of angled across the page. Fun, fun, fun!

I probably should have thought to add glue to those stickers (YIKES) I think they are pretty sticky, but that could fade in time. I guess they can be glued back in if they slip at some point. I hate mixing glues, so I just don’t think of it…

@@BeAgainBooks Well, since they are stuck to paper, I would think it would be a better bond than on a painted wall. I'm betting they will hold just fine. Come to think of it, I've used some blue butterfly wall stickers (also from Dollar Tree) on paper before and I don't think I added glue. I think they are still stuck just fine. @@wallcreekandrea5196 Thank you Andrea! The paper is not from a digital kit. It is from a scrapbooking paper pad from Hobby Lobby - “Sun Bleached Floral” from Paper Studio. I don’t know if it is still available. I’ve had it for at least a year, maybe longer. Thanks for reaching out. I hope you can find it. I agree it’s very pretty.

@@quiltednestvintage6347 Good question. Sometimes I include vintage ephemera just because it’s interesting. I put it in there so that a journaler is reminded that saving something that you simply find interesting or something that expresses your personality is okay and that is what the pockets are for, haha. All of the ephemera in my journals can be traded out for something more interesting or meaningful to the journaler. OR, if such a thing is in my own journal, I might use pieces of it in collages in the journal. Or, use a mixed media technique to cover the printing, such as smooshing acrylic paint or rolling on gesso. This creates a writing area. BUT, I would probably just swap it out, if I didn’t like it.
