Note: CEFALY is officially intended for episodic migraine.
In this video, I share a gentle, yet effective, bedtime routine for migraine nights. This routine will help you find relief and get things done, WITHOUT overexerting yourself (and paying for it the next day!). I also wanted to share how seamless it is to incorporate CEFALY into your nightly migraine routine. The CEFALY migraine relief device is easy to use, and offers both acute and preventive migraine management without the hassle of prescriptions or side effects.
You know me... I took a full dive into the science behind CEFALY. In this video, I shared some of the key points, like how it targets the trigeminal nerve to provide targeted relief and desensitization over time. And it has no serious adverse effects reported (seriously!), and a 90-day guarantee. CEFALY is a fantastic company which will empower you to take control of your migraine episodes, and finally get some relief from your migraine cycle! Say goodbye to the grogginess and forgetfulness often associated with medications, and hello to uninterrupted sleep and migraine-free days.
Don't let migraines dictate your life. Find a night time routine and a healthcare regimen that works for you. You really can get better sleep and have fewer migraines, but it will take some trial and error. I highly recommend that you make CEFALY part of that routine, and you can take advantage of my exclusive 15% discount when you do, using CODE MOMMINGWITHMIGRAINE at checkout!
I sincerely hope that these tips help you to wake up more refreshed, healthy, and able in the mornings. Remember that you are worth taking care of! Love and hugs, Jen.

I could definitely watch something more in depth on the CEFALY, maybe the science behind how it works? You're so good with the sciencey explanations!

Greetings Jen. I have vestibular migraine that was never diagnosed because I also have social anxiety disorder. However, I noticed that managing stress, getting enough sleep, and reducing caffine greatly helped put my migraine symptoms into remission. Interestingly it’s a nervous system disorder and when I have anxiety and ptsd triggered by toxic work environment I end up having a panic attack which starts like a bad trip. Then days later I feel motion or pregnancy sick I believe anxiety disorder and migraines are interrelated. If I can avoid being in situations that induce paranoia and anxiety then I do not get migraines. But I do know the difference between a panic attack and a migraine. Panic attacks are impending doom, worthlessness, feelings of dread and loss of confidence. Migraines are vertigo and motion sickness Even lightheaded feelings.

I love so many of these! I'm also finding that I need to eat closer to bedtime and it has improved my sleep and reduced my 3am wake ups. Another tip based on my experience - I painted my bedroom a VERY dark color and it's so nice. When I enter my bedroom it's like my eyes can relax and I'm in my own cozy cave. I felt like blackout curtains weren't enough for me and the dark paint helped immensely. It's hard to describe the relief I feel! My daytime relaxing room is painted in a nice earthy green which I find not to stimulating. I guess what I'm saying here is, think about color and how you feel most comfortable :) Especially if you are light sensitive.

"don't eat late" just isn't for everyone I guess. I love that you mentioned paint. Not gonna lie, painting/wallpaper has been on my heart lately for several rooms in my house. A dark bedroom is such a good idea. Did you do the ceiling too? I'm thinking about doing my office a sort of salmon/coral color, with green plants or maybe accent a wall with a planty wallpaper. I am obsessed with the olive green trend and have been wanting to incorporate it in a main room. What I'm trying to say is YESSSS

@@MommingwithMigraine So the ceiling isn't painted dark but I would prefer it painted! Just having the dark walls helps with the light bouncing around the room but I can imagine having the ceiling dark would be even better. I was thinking about buying a roll of sticky removable wallpaper in a dark color to stick up there and test before committing to all the work of painting. Your office idea sounds amazing! I'm a huge fan of coral and greens :)

that's a good idea... you know there are some really elegant textured wallpapers - it could look NICE on the ceiling to avoid the painting hassle www.pinterest.com/hyggeandwest/wallpapered-ceilings/

I use my older version Cefaly dual for acute migraine attacks and it works pretty well. My Neurologist has recently encouraged me to try using it as a preventative every day again. I tried that for a while when I first got it and didn't see a difference, but she wants me to try again and stick with it longer before giving up. Seeing the new Cefaly here, I have questions: Apart from the bluetooth capabilities and CeCe app, do you feel a difference in the way the newer version is working for you? I mean is it stronger or does it have a different sensation? I'm just wondering if it's worth it for me to upgrade. I don't see a big benefit to an upgrade.

I’m looking into it! As someone that barely stays at a functioning level I’m down to try anything. I see the “connected” cefaly and “enhanced” what’s really the difference?

Aww, I'm so sorry you're there. I understand the desperate feeling and hope this device helps you as much as it's helped me. CEFALY Connected is the more advanced version; it Bluetooth connects to the CeCe app so you can track and optimize your treatment, see battery level, etc. They both can do both types of treatments - acute or prevent!

i dropped my old og cefaly in milk and wish they made the old kind. th current ones are too heavy, so they drag the electrode down and off.

Yes I have heard of it! Pretty sure I don't have MCAS... Can't recall if I was formally tested cuz it's been years... but thanks to POTS Care we learned I have something similar - (minor) eosinophil activation.

I noticed companies like gammacore will charge you each month like a cell phone. That is such a rip off. I think you should just be able to buy the device.

Gosh yes, sometimes costing thousands per year. YIKES. Completely agree. The CEFALY device is thankfully yours to keep. You only need to replace the electrodes as needed. If you take good care of them they can last 20 uses no problem. They're $25 for a 3 pack, super doable. Wonder if my code MOMMINGWITHMIGRAINE gives a discount on electrodes too?! 😆
