Kirsten, I feel ya! I think when our energy is low (which seems to be contagious in these times) our executive function decreases slowly. Its not a depression, but a world-wearyness and although we can be surrounded by loved ones and happy things....sometimes we still struggle. This vlog was a perfect bit of medicine for me as where I live I don't have a garden or a dog. I think when we recognize that we need a bit of a step-back, we recouperate quicker. Your home and garden are lovely! Oh, and my dear mum would say that when the cows are all gathered on the gound "oh look love, the girls are having a meeting!". Happy days to you!

Love Bramley Hedge. You are too young to remember, but I was at Primary school when we changed to decimal currency, it was quite exciting! Look after yourself, Kirsten, bank woes can be very stressful. My daughters are in Leeds and I’ve been worried too, hopefully things will calm down soon.

Oh Kirsten I completely understand your annoyance with the banking system. You were lucky to talk to a human being at your bank branch as the banks are closing down branches here in Australia and in the ones that remain open have limited staff and no cash. However they did recently let me know that my debit card had been used in San Antonio Texas to buy a Mexican meal and were urgently checking if this was correct and had blocked the payment and my account - they handled everything (by phone) with lightening speed and with a really pleasant attitude. Had a replacement debit card to me by the end of the week and it included full (easy to use) instructions to set it up. Like you I always worry about the pass code so choose a code that has some meaning - spouses' or children's birthday for example. Also write them down at home in a way I can understand but others probably wouldn't. The whole banking bizz these days is so complex and lacking in customer service, perhaps its a worldwide trend.

I had the same trouble remembering all the odd pin numbers. Then I realized that I can go in when I'm activating it and change it to something I can remember. It may not be that way in the UK, but it is in Oklahoma!🤭

I have also stopped watching/listening to the news on a regular basis. With all the madness going on, it makes you appreciate living in a rural county even more. Don't think the rain reached here yesterday, but I like hearing the rain on my conservatory roof too. Aww - Jenny pining for Darren bless her ❤️. I hope you manage to get to see your eldest son 🤞 🤞. P.S. Butler's Empire often frequent the Ragged Apron cafe - I've yet to make it there to try one of their quite renowned breakfasts.......
