I wear a beard year around but still wet shave around it every 2 or 3 days to keep the groomed look, cheeks and neck. I have eanted to shave the beard off a couple times lately but my daughter and wife like it so i keep it.

Big fan of yours! you’ve got me into wet shaving such a big difference between the disposables and also offer so much of a closer shave! but I have a problem with the 2 sides of my face with terrible irritation spots by the goatee area under my chin any tips on how to stop it? Isaac John In my experience the blades make a huge difference with avoiding irritation. Problem is that everyone’s face is different. I’d try a feather to see if it gives you a smoother shave with no irritation

Hey Ken, love the videos. I have a quick question. I like to shave every day, but by the fourth or so day, I end up with some redness on the upper lip on each side, at the points midway between the tip of the nose and the corners of the mouth. Therefore, I’ll usually have to take a day off, and then the process starts again. Do you know if this is a common problem area?

On a personal note, with no ill will towards anyone else's opinion, I find it mindblowing that people expect a guy who shaves to always be clean shaven; forever. It's just ludicrous to me. Any time you lather up, load a blade into your razor, put it on your face, then cut hair; you're shaving. I mean, it's not rocket science. Besides, one of the cool things about being a guy is being able to experiment with different looks throughout your life. Sport a tache for Movember, grow a beard during winter, rock a goat during summer; then go with what works best. Wet shaving is using those methods and techniques to shave, nothing to explicitly imply shaving entire face only. No other look. Ever. That's just my two cents though. Lol. Lastly, it looks friggen awesome on you Ken.

A person's face is his own and he can keep or take hair off his face as he wills. Me personally, even past 50, I am just used to a full clean shaven face and mostly do so out of habit. Was in the military and having facial hair was a no no, a lesson driven home the first time you put on that bio-weapons kit and don't have a full face seal and they make you go into a room, and stay in that room, filled with tear gas. Fun times. Your wife likes you having that goatee probably because it makes most men look a little older, mature. Especially for men who still have that kid twinkle in his eye. She'll go the other way though if you work your body out, and keep a firm toned body, then you'd look like a toy boy hunk and no woman can resist showing you off to her friends if you look good. Or at least that's my experience. Great shave with what sounds like a great soap. Your description of the scent alone makes me want to go out and get some (already spent several almost a thousand dollars on shaving stuff this month....so that will have to join the que) but I'll wait till my shipping budget resets next month.

But on a different but yet related topic: I watched a review of the EJ 316 on another channel, and that dude had a full beard, he only did trimming of the neck, barely anything......and that one I called out !
