I like repetition, it’s a good way to remember the techniques

I love this Calvin! Please don't change how you've been showing us your technique. I don't feel the videos are too long at all, and I appreciate you giving us the detail. Please remember that if it's too long for someone, THEY can fast forward. I appreciate that you've taken the time to show us your technique. How would we learn if you move it along too fast? Thank you for ALL of your videos. Always a highlight of my day.

For me, I like the length of your videos - not too long and not the “shorts.” I especially love the techniques you use for shading/highlights….especially with the fringe in this video. Thank you

I just bought your regular watercolor and galaxy watercolor brushes today after discovering your channel and watching this and another video. Your channel is exactly what I’m looking for. I love the way you explain things and also the pace of your videos that I’ve seen so far. I wouldn’t change the pace of your videos and I I can’t wait to watch more of them.

Lovely tutorial, and helpful!! I admire your creativity and the amazing imagination to come up with such interesting figure to draw~~~ I feel most of us kinda lost this childlike imagination as we grow older in this world!

Just found your videos and I think they're excellent. I personally love the in-depth detail because you're really good at showing your thought process without dragging it out. I bought your brushes and paper and can't wait to do more of your tutorials!

Wow! Awesome tutorial. Easy to follow instruction and perfect pacing. Your instruction style makes Procreate accessible for beginners like me. I suspect those with experience learn some insightful tips, too. Thank you so much for your generosity and sharing your talent!

Nope, I think some of us would get lost, like I don’t have all the steps committed to memory so I like see it real time step by step, so when u are done, my illustration is also complete. Ppl can fast forward if they want rather than us less skilled having to guess how u get from A to Z, thank u.

I also meant to say that you repeating lessons reenforces the learning and remembering what we leaned for us newbies. I’ve enjoyed every single video, it never feels repetitive. I check for new content from you every day 🙂

You mentioned that you felt the hedgehog video was too long, I disagree. I would rather a demonstration video be as long as it needs to be to show enough detail of the process. The hedgehog video showed enough detail, in fact it was fine in my opinion but I wouldn't have minded if it turned out 20+ minutes long if needed. For instance, rather than explaining at the completion of the initial filling in of color that the order of the layers was of some importance, I would have rather you mentioned it during the work. That would give some insight to your thought process while working. Anyway I'm having fun following along with your tutorials. I've purchased your basic kit and a few of your paper textures. That reminds me, how would one go about making a larger or smaller canvas with one of your paper textures applied to it? Thanks, Dan.

Could you please tell me how you’re printing your photos? I printed mine today in matte cars stock and it just looked blah. Maybe you’re using something that would work better for me.

hi! I am using an apple iPad. Almost any iPad will work except for for the very old models. I'm also using the Apple Pencil, that's the white pencil you see. This is like a stylus but it's very advanced and it can sense how hard I'm pressing. My iPad is an iPad Pro from 2021 😁
