Maria I don't know if you already know this or not but the 3 "naked ladies" are Greek Goddesses known as the Charities or Graces. They are goddesses of music, love, and beauty. There names are Aglaea, Euphrosyne, and Thalia. The iconography on the notebook is a representation of them from an ancient art work found in Pompeii and often reproduced. :)
@empratt58004 жыл бұрын
Yes! But I do think the ladies on the cover of this journal are copied from the 3 Graces in Boticelli’s Primavera. They are in the same position as in that famous Renaissance painting. The background of trees and ground foliage seems to match the painting, too.

Maria, once again, your videos are a port in a storm. Life's been hard lately, and I'm plagued with anxiety. It's disturbing my sleep in particular, and I'm struggling to escape it in my quiet moments especially. I fell asleep last night listening to a video and woke up an hour and a half before my alarm today, full of dread. So I put on my headphones and listened some more while I read and tried to unwind a little before I have to go to work. I feel so, so much better now than I did when I woke up, and I'm heading into my workday much more in the calm and clear-headed space I want to be in when I'm around other people. I don't really drink or do drugs. I don't have a lot of escapes or coping tools outside myself when I start to feel carried away by these bad feelings. But your videos help me, very much. Thank you for making them.

Amazing. I don't know how I stumbled on these videos but I literally thought until tonight I was the only person that got those "chills" from certain sounds and sensations. The whispering in the ear stuff is too much for me, it's the same feeling I get when I use electric clippers to shave my head, up my spine. But the crinkling, soft talking and page turning stuff gets me just nicely. It's not sexual either, but in a way it kind of is, I think just because of how relaxing it makes you feel. Nice job young lady!

I sometimes put these videos on at work to relax and drown out the sound of my boss eating crisps (potato chips) at his desk. He goes at them like a velocoraptor on crack. Unfortunately though, Maria is so gentle, that I can still hear what sounds like a baboon and a bucket of gravel in a cement mixer all through her subtle ministrations. So I usually have to listen to a film clip of a gunfight until he's finished. My favourites are the bit in Cloverfield when the army are blazing away at the creature and the desert battle between the Scorpion thing and the US special forces team in Transformers... but then I'm blazing with testosterone and adrenaline, so I turn back to Maria to soothe my troubled soul

I come back to this video purely for the ice cream card and all the crinkly journals. Tingly almost every time 💕

I think the thing with Maria is her accent. She is the only person who actually makes me go to sleep. I love her Russian accent, it makes it so nice. Who agrees?

This goes to every asmrtist out there You have a good mic, and people love your videos C: Don't ever feel like you can never just turn the camera on whenever and whisper into your mics. The truth is we don't mind about the orientation of the video or how it is portrayed. My favourite video was the ASMResearch video you did, it was relaxed and truly amazing, we love your voice, it is amazing, people only want to hear your voice if you feel like doing a video or have some extra time tell us about your day or something! We miss you there are long gaps where you have not done a video, and it doesn't have to be perfect, we just want to hear your beautiful voice again XD To every Asmrtist who feels pressurised or something by trying to produce a good video, I usually have my eyes closed anyway, do the channel as you want, but we will love everything that gets put onto here (:

I wouldn't make Maria feel guilty about having long gaps. She mentioned she is going back to school again and for any student, that itself is time consuming. I'm thankful she's still here to begin with. Once most youtubers get "famous" or receive enough recognition, they either start dedicating a large portion of their videos to sponsorship in order to make more money (LaToyaforever?), or disappear completely. I love the creativity which she puts into her videos. I think it definitely makes me wonder what new trigger she will think of next.

Imra Cora no no all I am saying is, Maria has an amazing voice and she doesn't have to spend time editing videos or anything because whatever she uploads is bound to be fantastic c: I know, its time consuming which is why I am saying this x

I totally get what you are saying, no need to go to any trouble, just turn on the mic and ramble about anything. I would literally listen to Maria reading the back of a washing powder box. In fact on that note I sometimes I think she should try to monetize a bit. Just read out promotions for products, I'd be cool with that , she ought to get something back from it. Come to think of it I already bought the sleep phones and the airplane postcard, she ought to get something back for that kind of thing.

A-freaking-men. My favorites are simple trigger videos like this one. Sure super polished role plays are nice, but watching them for bed is just not viable, as I tend to fall asleep in the first half of the video when I settle down for bed with an asmr video.
@Doodahdoodles2 жыл бұрын
@@BunnaySango 100%! The super polished ones do nothing for more. A one take one with the most basic tech is the best!

Not the first video I ever saw of Maria, but the first I really loved and made me a huge fan of her and her fantastically relaxing voice.

Red Pyro ohh, I thought something interesting happened, like they fell asleep because of it and dropped the cereal on a power outlet and it took out the whole neighborhood or something.

I really like the end bit when you smooth your hands over the fabric cloth, it sounds good and you can see where you have stroked the fabric. Please make a video of just this, it's SO relaxing and tingly!

Well, there you have it Maria, you only need to buy and write and send 3,700 cards and everyone will be thrilled, hehe. We should all be sending you cards.....yout videos are simply top tier in every way.

That zebra print book's pages, when you "test them out" gives me tingles all the way down to my feet. It's amazing. I don't know how many times I've replayed that part. Thank you so much for thinking of these things. It's so amazing.

This is one of my go-to ASMR videos that I use to help me get to sleep almost every night! Your voice is so soothing and relaxing. I really enjoy the crinkles and finger taps (your rings are gorgeous!) as well as your soft whispers and the items you use for visuals. Thanks for producing such lovely videos

I absolutely LOVE it when you go to that point of view at 4:44. Every time you do that in your videos, it feels like you're massaging the inside of my head :O It seriously makes my body go numb! You are the best :D

I love this video. I love that you say rhymestones instead of rhinestones several times. It's very cute and sweet. My husband (not a native English speaker) says things like that and we get some giggles out of it. It's very very endearing! I think on the spa one I watched last night you said "earmuffins" and I was like "AWW!!!" :) *heart heart* p.s. don't change the way you say it just because we point it out, okay?! hehe The tapping and the bringing attention to the detail on the cards and journals is so very soothing, as is your voice and appearance.

I just wanted to thank you so very much. I've had insomnia from a very young age and your videos - primarily your voice itself, especially with your accent - relaxes me enough to actually sleep at night. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you so very much.
