Lucianno's have some great LV clones too, with pressurized atomizers to boot (no mag caps, sadly). I know there's Ombre Nomade and Afternoon Swim which are fantastic but there's one or two more that I haven't been able to get.

Jean Lowe Ombre is a compliment beast! I get non-stop compliments on it every time I wear it. Haven't tried the Woods Collection (Royal night) version though. The Woods Collection (The Essence) is a Penhaligon's Halfeti clone. Just picked it up a month ago. Smells great, but no one ever talks about it.

I just opened and sprayed Jean Lowe Noir (in Eu) or OMBRE and it needs maceration badly. Right now is just an animalic leathery scent without any nuances of rose, raspberry, oud and perhaps a minute hint of smokiness.

Hey Ash, Perfumer Quentin Bisch (who did Scandal Absolu & Le Male Elixir for JPG, in addition to many others) just did a fragrance for Lattafa called TERIAQ. Caramel is the main note in Scandal (and it has Vanilla also) and it's also the main note in Teriaq, with the addition of Almond, Leather & Honey and it's AMAZING. It also has Vanilla too. I suggest you check this one out. The Leather is a nice addition to balance out the sweetness. Would love to know what you think!!!

They always say Turathi and Théoreme are Tygar clones. To me they are also Clones of Pompej Rosso from Tiziana Terenzi. By the way: Thanks for your videos. Always informative, well researched and presented in an amusing way. But: The warm season is just around the corner, but unfortunately most of the fragrances presented today are more for autumn/winter. With the proliferation of cheap clone fragrances you have to wonder how the niche brands can remain profitable? I guess one option is to go even more expensive like Boadicea the Victorious who's bottles sell for around $900. I've yet to see anyone create clones of their high-end niche fragrances. It seems right now the only advantage they have over clones is the more expensive presentation (e.g. bottle design and fancy boxes).

@@ThomasSarkus Yeah I was going to suggest the niche guys could differentiate from cheap clones by using more expensive ingredients in their fragrances. But then you look at how clones of Tom Ford Oud Wood have been very successful in spite of the fact that Oud is one of the most (if not the most) expensive ingredients.
