Me too. Try Geàu version of Acqua Di Gio. It's a box at Walmart. I didn't believe it either, but it smells exactly like Acqua Di Gio. I like to layer it with Profumo.

Growing up when Aqua Di Gio was hot, I loved it, but never thought it was worth it because the Armani price tag and overwhelming popularity. However, I am interested in this modern take, and the fact that the patchouli is clean and not hippie-ish makes me more interested. 👍

My fave is Acqua di Giò Absolu, although I know not many will like it, as it's a bit heavy. I do enjoy Profundo very much, though. I see Profundo for my spring and summer scent.

I have to disagree with you on the performance and silage. I'm lucked to get 5 hours from my bottle and it turn to a skin scent about an hour and a half in. Are you sure you are not sponsored by Giorgio Armani lol?

Absolu Instinct can get you close to that.

Profumo Special Blend, that's the one you need, darker version of Profumo. It's a fantastic dark aquatic, woody and not aromatic aquatic as regular Profumo. Absolu Instinct could work too, cause of ebony wood, but the darkest ADG in the whole line is Profumo Special Blend, in my opinion.

I just received a small bottle of this new EDP and I have no idea why you’re so excited about this one. Because they didn’t give it s special name (like essenza, Profondo, Profumo) and they actually called it AQUA DI GIO EDP - I was expecting something very similar to the original, with minor changes and better longevity and performance. (like Chanel, Dior and other top brands do when they take an EDT and makes an EDP), and for me there is no similarity to the ADG line and they should have give it a different name as the other flankers and not confuse the customers, but this is only my own opinion This EDP immediately reminded me something else, I think maybe Creed Aventus (cologne and NOT the original) or Hermes or even Carven. Once it dries down, the vetiver or the orange mandarin (or whatever it is) is very strong. I’m disappointed.

Just got a bottle of the EDP and yeah my initial take is that it is not a stronger EDT. I also find it hard to detect any similarity to the original EDT. What stands out to me is the geranium and woodiness from the patchouli and vetiver. Will have to see how I feel about this over time and in hotter weather. Have only sampled Profundo and have not used Profumo in a while but I feel those two flankers have more of an original ADG feel then this one.

I'm going to buy this one too! I just got Georgio Armani Colonia for $93 for a 200ml. Put money aside for the edp version. I have a 1/3 left of essenza from a 4.2oz bottle. Tomorrow I'm wearing Paris Hilton Just Me tomorrow which is better than the edt in price and performance

Looking forward to this new flanker! The original ADG was my signature scent freshman year of high school. I used to love it 🔥 then Profumo came out and til this day still love Profumo. Profondo was underwhelming for me, not really a fan. Profondo Lights is nice👌🏽 and Absolu smells basic but Absolu Instinct is really nice 👍🏽

I didn't much like it at first, AdG EdT with an Ambroxan aftertaste/drydown and not really much more long-lasting than the EdT, but using it more I've come around a lot - my girlfriend loving it did help a lot though. Still, Profumo (which is _not_ disconintued, at least in Europe, new bottles have been made in 2022 and are widely available) will stay my prefered one from the line (my GF does love that one even more), with EdT a close second and then the EdP. Didn't much care for Prodondo or Profondo Lights tbh.

Profumo is still available in the US! I just picked one up from Macys, although the bottles are smaller. You only have one option nowadays. Before I had the bigger bottle. Now you can only get the 2.5 I believe

At 1:33 there's more than just "the ingredient information". There's the all important FIL (Fragance Ingredients List) formula code found on all boxes that L'Oreal produces. For this one it's FIL #N284240/1. That's how you can easily tell future reformulations. While you don't mention it, at least you provide a clear image of it. That batch code of 38U003T indicates it was manufactured in Oct. 2021.

Dior and the rest of the L'Oreal produced fragrances all have formula codes in addition to batch codes. Either the YT reviewers are stubborn and won't mention it, or they're clueless. If f they had been mentioning formula codes for the last decade, we would have known what's been reformulated and when.

Purchased today as a blind buy. I’m a fan of the OG, Profumo and profundo (of which my bottle is near empty); I’m also a fan of H24, which you were not, Ash. Clary Sage, mineralic and floral…curious how much H24 DNA comes across.

Been sniffing this for a few days now...and if people deny that this is ADG, layered on top of an H24 style frag, they're in, well, denial. The sage/floral metallics, the sage/metallics specifically, have the same vibe as H24 but more subdued; H24 is a bit (alot) sweeter on the floral with more sillage....having both the OG ADG and H24, and if you have both, I suggest you try this: layer them. What you get is a stronger smelling ADG EDP (the EDP is by far the weakest projecting batch in the line) on the sweet side. I can't say I like it over Profondo, let alone H24, but since my Profundo is near death and no ADG EDT on hand, I'll overspray (which is needed) until the bottle is gone. Speaking of bottle...compare it to the H24 bottle and juice color... Overall, big disappointment compared to prior flankers (and at full price to boot). Feels like this is a case of "I love ADG" so I love this...even tho the H24 influence is being ignored....floral....clary sage...metallic notes...I mean....that's the entirely of H24 right there. YMMV.

I don't get any longevity out of any of the A D G 's I don't like profumo my fav is Profondo and it gives me 5ish hours off 7 sprays

Profumo and dark brown(Absolu Instinct)have great parameters,all day easily o n my skin,which is really rare 😉

i have this. its ok at best. nothing to be so hyped over. smells decent but the longevity is horrible on me for an EDP

Only ever owned hugo man and profundo, now I’m looking for a winter fragrance, something that might cover the smell of cigarettes, work in a professional setting, and still work when I go clubbing. I was thinking Prada Luna Rossa Black but I’m open to suggestions.
