I happened past the Macy's cologne counter few weeks ago and remembered your comments on African Leather, and so stopped to ask if had a sample or tester of that fragrance. Nope, not stocked. But they did have some of the Tom Ford line. Since I do already have Maison Alhambra's dupe of Tuscany Leather, out of curiosity I did a spray on skin from one of the their testers. The opening was sweeter than my dupe's opening (few minutes later, I noted my dupe's dry-down is spot on). Anyway, for conversation asked the counter person about the pricing for their 100ml Tuscany Leather. Was stunned when they told me, $285... BEFORE tax. That's one massive clone-to-original price gap. Given that, I'd say MA's dupe is def worthy of your clone line-up here.

I have Nouf and it’s one of my favorites. Imo its much closer to Kajal Lamar than Hacivat. The white floral jasmine note is dialed back and the oak moss note is elevated but it doesn’t have any of the birch resin/ smoke that Hacivat and Aventus are known for. I layer it with not only intense and it’s almost exactly Hacivat.
