I purchased four of these Alhambra PDM clones: Perseus, Hercules, Leyden and Cassius. The all lack the pop or sparkle from the original PDM but I’d say they’re 85% close. Perseus I find isn’t as close to Pegasus but dang it’s good. Leyden has an incense note after the dry down which I don’t particularly like. The real Layden really pops and is super complex. But it’s pretty similar in the air as you said. Neiman Marcus has all the PDMs, Creeds, Tom Fords, etc. so you can test out scents there from all the niche brands. Great value for the price, again, Maison Alhambra 👍🏻

Shout out to Kailyn. 😄 Haven't tried their take on Carlisle (Cassius) which I heard is good, but for something even better, give Exclusif Tabac a try. I actually prefer it over the OG Carlisle. Almost the same scent but better blended. Plus the bottle and atomizer are wonderful (I love cylinders). Shame it was never as widely available, but along with Crafted Oud and Fortnight, they're probably my 3 current favs from the subbrand.

Try Hercules on skin, not on a paper strip. In fact, always try fragrances on skin; it makes no sense to judge scents on paper. Hercules is incredibly close to Herod, and it performs better.

HERCULES smells sexy. Notes of Vanilla, Tobacco, Incense are so damn good. Longevity:On my skin it last 8+ hours, last few days on cloth. Projection: Moderate, 3 feets for the first 4-5 hours. Sillage: Good, I still can sniff it on me after 12 hours. Try Hercules , you won't regret it. The scent is 7x more expensive than its price. One of my favourite vanilla tobacco fragrance besides SpiceBomb Extreme.

All top top of the line 9.5/10 in order of greatness. 1. Hercules 2. Kalos 3. Galactus "gold" Way better than Tuscan leather. 4. Cassius. Bypass...not worth it *Leyden...weak. *Persus... baby powder almond, interesting smell , but extremely unisex leaning female. *Persus exclusf.. not mass appeal, but is ok average. Just my personal opinion, and the girls i know.

I bought this whole line about a year ago, the scent profiles are all great but most are short lived, even after maturing for the year, my nose has evolved quite a bit since then and it's even worse now, I've gotten used to wear some beasts which by the way screws it up for a lot of fragrances, I really wish every fragrance out there was just in your face offensively beast mode 🤷😂

@@realtalk9195 honestly the main one that performs the worst is Kalos, everything else is decent, basically average, cassius is worth getting, considering there's not much to choose from for a Carlisle clone, I'd say you'd be happy but definitely do the routine of a few wearings and let it set as long as you can handle it, at least a month or two, I have a backup coming so it's not too bad, I may have gotten a bottle from a bad batch of kalos but I didn't take a chance on another one, bought 3 Amber Oud Exclusif Sports, awesome PDM Kalan clone

Agreed. I got Leyden, and while its very similar...it doesn't project AT ALL. If you want your pillow to smell like Layton, then this will work. I'll stick with the OGs (9mL at a time lol).

Your reviews are totally believable as no hype. I've been on the fence about a Layton clone to preserve my OG juice. I love the Bottles from this house...I Absolutely love the Herod clone which is HELLA close to my nose. It lacks a little creaminess but thats negligible. Amber Oud Exclusif Bleu is a really good fragrance. It definitely smells like Layton and performance is outstanding. You would not be disappointed in it if you love Layton. Also, Detour Noir is better than Leyden to me. Amber Oud Exclusif Bleu is certainly better than both of those.

I had the perseus, performed well (at least 6 hours and fairly strong projection), however it's the type of scent that gets really boring, really quickly. They do perseus exclusif to clone pegasus exclusif as well, maybe worth a try

Bought layden and Kalos about a month ago.... Kalos is def a divisive scent... It's a 50/50 COMMENT factor... Meaning I might get a good compliment I might get a "ewwww you smell like outside" comment.... But layden is a cold hard lady killer.....I will say the performance is pretty trashy... This is going to sound harsh, but fair's fair I think. To quote a bit of Drag Race; "Why y'all acting brand new?" Where's the prep, more importantly, comparison in a dupe review? You mispronounce *so many* names, you flat-out forget other names completely (you could have notes off screen, and/or edit or cut in). More importantly you haven't tried some of the originals to compare, in a comparison video. So how well does this video meet the expectations set by the thumbnail? Are they good? Are they really clones? How do they compare? You can't tell us. Right now all I can get from this is how you describe them as you find them/first impressions, which is more important to me than how sick they'll look on your counter. You have charisma, you can present, your cinematography is polished, but there are bigger channels (and smaller, rougher ones) that I preferred to go to because they have the information.

There’s only one of those that really has decent longevity with some projection. You need the real ones. These are like watered down samples . They’re good to wear to bed. Take the money Get real samples. Seriously.

Pretty on par with the originals. I get better performance with the Pegasus cloned than I do with the actual one from parfums de Marley. Leyden is also really good with performance... Overall pretty excellent stuff.
