The one thing I love about You Tube is that anything you need to do is located here. Lol even stabilizing geo webbing on a sloped area.

this geoweb is used to make airfields in combat situations so it has been around since the late 70's/ early 80's. And yes it is very expensive but it is the item to use if you need to do it quickly

I did a project a while back using the Geo web with a 1:1 ratio but we had to install 12" X 1" drainage pipes every 4' or so and then we poured concrete and had to push the concrete back up and into the Geo web with rakes as we went down the slope. Thank God we only had to do a 20' wall about 200' long. We were reinforcing the banks around 2 60" drain pipes that were blowing out the banks.

Geo Web has proven to be an indispensable tool in our slope stabilization project, especially when combined with Basecore's geocells. The integration of these two technologies has elevated our project's success to new heights. Geo Web's decentralized geospatial network allows us to monitor and analyze terrain conditions in real time, while Basecore's geocells provide exceptional stabilization and erosion control. Together, they have enhanced the stability of our slopes and provided a sustainable solution. Thanks to Geo Web and Basecore, our project is not only safer but also more environmentally friendly. Highly recommended for anyone undertaking a slope stabilization endeavor!

I would like to try it sometime, it has uses for soft roads as well, some pretty convincing vids on YT showing that you can use substantially less fill to build a bush road

We have used 4" geocell on steep driveways that have had constant wash out areas where there was no cost effective solution to divert water. Worked well , still some very minor errosion on the top rock but the rock between the cells was still 100% in tact. In this case solved 90% of the problem. Have not used it filled with soil but would expect similar results . Labor intensive but fairly easy to install after you learn a few tricks .

I'm glad to see that during this reccesion and the most financially difficult times that the govt is threatening to stop sending social security checks that they find it nessisary to spend $100K on this project that is vital to the county's economic survival!!!! Why do I pay my taxes?

Social Security?! In many cases it is a transfer payment / ponzi scheme. At least with public works projects there is a tangible benefit. The merits of a bike trail is another issue.

@dirthog800 Remeber this when the Govt. defaults on it liabilities..Like your parents social security...I'm the idiot for living within my means and running my busines without beeing up to my eyeballs in debt...My equipment is bougt and paid for and no one can come get it..If our leaders lived by these rules our dollar wouldn't be in free fall...But..I have my opinion and you have yours..I'm saying we shouldn't be borrowing money from China and Mexico to operate the country.
