Google Earth Studio - Creating Awesome GeoAnimations

Google Earth Studio is a tool which has gained quite a lot of attention during recent times due to its amazing capabilities to create stunning 3D geo-animations by making use of google earth’s satellite and 3d imagery. Google Earth and Google Earth Studio share quite a lot of things, particularly when it comes to the geospatial data such as 3D and satellite imagery. However, with google earth studio, you get this additional component of being able to produce stunning geo-animations.

Is there a way to control how fast the camera zooms in. I was following along, but I started from outer space and set the zoom in to last 30 seconds. The zoom-in starts slow, but in the last couple of second is zooms in super quick on the castle. I would like it to be smoother.

So good. I am understanding alot. I put on the Time of Day: Time (night to morning) and click Add Attribute and saved it but when I open it the next day, it played night all the way. The linear path and zoom worked but not the time night to day. What was I doing wrong?

Hi your videos are very good and I have watched a lot of them including your qgis videos. I am exporting kmls from qgis and importing them on Google earth studio to get a free geolayers3 replacement where I can highlight countries in certain colours. I think it would be a good video for you to make. Taking country shapes from qgis and overlaying them on Google earth studio. Sometimes I export the country shapes from overpass turbo and just edit the shape colour using a text editor. From there I import it into after effects with tracking data and I add nice labels which animate on. I have been trying to get geo data directly (shapes paths etc as vector) into after effects without geolayers3 without success though. But when it comes in on the Google earth studio images as raster data it's fine. Thanks for your videos.

Great video. Just playing with this but I initially set my project duration to 15 seconds and the timeline showed 0 to 15 seconds. Somehow along the way, I did something to change it so now across the timeline top I see 01f, then a space and 02f then a space and 03f etc. So basically all I see is maybe 10 frame markings across the top within 1 second of time. I can scroll across to see more but I can't get the time code to show 0 to 15 seconds in 1 screen again. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hello, BC. I see you're issue here, I am a part of the team here at GeoDelta Labs and am happy to help! What you need to do to fix this issue is firstly exit the project with saving, then you enter back into the project and set the project duration to 25 then back to the original 15 seconds you put. Yes, that could very well be the reason as not all the regions in the world have been mapped at the same level of detail in GE Studio.

Please let me know why I cannot move the line after creating the new attribute. It doesn’t allow me to select the new button and move the line to make a curve. When I try to click the new button and hold it, then the whole map moves instead of the line path of the camera!!
